Is it strange that I still haven't gotten a message saying that I'm "in line" yet? I got my fingerprints taken on 10/31, and I received a yellow letter telling me what to bring to the interview, but I haven't gotten anything saying I'm "in line." I'm starting to worry. Is that normal?

what is your greencard date.sometimes it counts

I just found this info on UPS website that if you discover that u sent ur package to wrong address then you have option to hold your package or deliver it to another address. I think we should contact UPS too if they can do that!

I really dont know why they accepted it. I feel so silly to have made that mistake !!! thanks to you for telling me! otherwise i would have been wondering still !!

Hey ...so we contacted UPS, surprisingly they had handed our package to USPS (after 12 days :ranting: ). We were given usps tracking number. It was delivered on 14th of november friday! What a relief!! but then i just noticed that it says its delivered to Phoenix AZ 85034 .. whereas the zipcode that i wrote was 85036. I read couple of previously threads on VJ, and people did seem to have this issue but it was all good and they did get through the next steps... Did any of you also exerience this too?? Can any one post a screenshot of their tracking thru USPS (to phoenix lockbox) … Please i really need some reassurance :(

So, I never received any email or text-message updates... anyone else have this problem? I did include the form for it when I send off my case... but nothing!

Also,, I just checked my case status online, it said "interview" scheduled as of 11/17/2014. Waiting on the paper notice. So I guess that means I'm in line for the interview? Also, my local office is Anchorage AK. Update me please! Thanks!

I think the difference in zip code might be 85034 being for "express commercial delivery" like UPS or Fed Ex and the 85036 is for regular and priority mail for USPS; still seems opposite of what you described happened (UPS transfer to USPS) however I am betting it will get to the right place and you will received confirmation soon hopefully. Did you include the request for electronic confirmation (text/e-mail) with your submission?

Oh wow! UPS ahhhhh at least they gave it to USPS I suppose! At least now we know what happens in that situation. And the good thing is, we now know that USCIS should have received it, based on the tracking info. You should hopefully receive a letter this week that they have accepted it. I have a feeling that they never saw your g-1145 form coz it was not on top of the packet, and so this is why you have got an email or text from them.

04/05/17... Paid the $120 Immigrant Visa Application Processing Fee online today (Also eligible to pay the $325 Fee but will wait before doing so...)

April-August... Took a break from the process in order to move back from USVI to mainland USA.

08/07/17... Paid the IV Fees for both my parents ($325 each) today

08/23/17... Called NVC because payment still showing "In Process", was advised to email proof of payment to have them manually correct it

08/24/17... CEAC website shows "Paid" and can now have parents' DS-260 forms filled in.

I think the difference in zip code might be 85034 being for "express commercial delivery" like UPS or Fed Ex and the 85036 is for regular and priority mail for USPS; still seems opposite of what you described happened (UPS transfer to USPS) however I am betting it will get to the right place and you will received confirmation soon hopefully. Did you include the request for electronic confirmation (text/e-mail) with your submission?

Oh wow! UPS ahhhhh at least they gave it to USPS I suppose! At least now we know what happens in that situation. And the good thing is, we now know that USCIS should have received it, based on the tracking info. You should hopefully receive a letter this week that they have accepted it. I have a feeling that they never saw your g-1145 form coz it was not on top of the packet, and so this is why you have got an email or text from them.

The case was received by USCIS. Got a text message from them with receipt number :D Finally!! And yes we did include a G 1145, though under the docs.. but i guess it worked :)

Went to ASC for fingerprints. We were one of only two customers in the place. In and out in 10 minutes. Not bad. Now waiting for the next step.

I guess that makes up for the 200 mile round trip drive in the snow! :ph34r:
