- 9/15/14 : USCIS received my I-130, I-485, & I-765 applications at the Chicago lockbox. [day 1] NOA txts rec'd 2 days later.
- 9/20/14 : Received 3 NOA receipts in mail saying case was being processed at the NBC [day 5]
- 9/26/14 : Received biometrics appt letter in the mail; appt. set for 10/6/14 at the Nashville office. [day 11]
- 9/30/14 : Successful early walk-in for my biometrics [day 15]
- 11/24/14 : Received email/txt notification that my EAD card is being produced [day 70] :)
- 12/2/14 : Received EAD card [day 78] :thumbs:
- 12/27/14 : Received interview letter in mail :content: [day 103] (Rec'd txt update on 12/29/14)
- 1/28/15 : Interview date! ​(Went w/a lawyer) We were given an approval letter!! :dancing: [day 135]
- 2/2/15 : Received 2 texts:I-485 (Welcome Notice mailed) I-130 (Petition Approved) **SOOO Happppy!!** :D:content::D
- 2/4/15 : Notified that GC was mailed, card received on 2/5/15!! [day 143] *So Blessed!* :):content::star::D

I suspect that part of the problem for me is that I'm being processed through the National Benefits Center in Missouri - so very slow! They don't call it Misery for nothing! I live in Pittsburgh, so I wonder if it's a Pittsburgh thing or an RFE thing.

I am being process in Missouri too and I got 2 RFEs but my AED now is being produced so better call them to follow up or make an appointment with your local USCIS ombudsman.

I am slowly dying inside little by little... Losing the will to go on.. Come on EADDD :((( :crying:

Just got a text and an email saying my card has been ordered and let me tell you you all seemed so cool after your card was ordered but I just had a 10 minute panic attack i was crying i couldnt breathe and wait for it.. im a ###### guy that hasn't cried since he was 10 years old !!

Having said that me and my wife were under tremendous pressure for the last 4 months since we came to the US nad knowing that I can now work and I am only waiting for the card was overwhelming.. I thought the day would never come!!

2/18/2018: i751 Case transferred to Local Office

2/26/2018: i751 Case received at Local Office

1/5/2018: i751 Case Transferred And New Office Has Jurisdiction

3/5/2018: Another update saying i751 Case Transferred And New Office Has Jurisdiction

5/7/2018: Received Letter stating i751 Case transferred to National Benefits Center, Lee's Summit, MO 64064

5/30/2018: Interview scheduled for N400

7/11/2018: Attended interview and was informed it will be a combo N400/I751 interview

8/6/2018: N400 Approved

8/7/2018: I751 Approved

9/5/2018: Oath Ceremony missed due to travel abroad and letter sent to USCIS to reschedule ceremony

10/2/2018: Officially a US Citizen!

So now next step is going to SSA and apply for my SSN and once I have that I can go take the drivers test and get a job????

Hahaha I looked at my card for so long too! My husband thought I was crazy lol :content:

Yes next step is for you to apply for SSN. Then, when you have your social security card, you can get a DL and get a job!

I'm planning on going soon to the social security office (wanted to do it today but my husband couldn't take me). In the meantime, I've been working on my resume and starting to look at jobs online.

righ, but i went to social securoty office and they told me if i applied for a new social security number, it will take 6 weeks to get a new number. i doubt if this is true, anyone here who applied for ssn already? as in new number? not with change name from maiden name?

12-08-14 - Change of Address online ( we moved to Ohio)

12-09-14 - Change of Address effective

12-11-14 - Received an Interview Letter (Jan. 15)

12-17-14 - Received Letter of Cancellation for the Interview

12-19-14 - EAD/AP APPROVED / for production

12-27-14 - Received EAD/AP in the mail

12-29-14 - applied for SSN using new EAD, need verification from DHS becuase i am not yet in the system

12-30-14 - Received email for Interview Appointment on January 29

01-29-15 - Interview

02-03-15 - SSN received in the mail / received letter from USCIS that i need to complete I-693 vaccination worksheet form

02-10-15 - submitted form I-693

02-12-15 - Card in production (thank God!)

02-20-15 - card mailed

02-25-15 - card received in mail (delayed from usps)
