Omg I'm so frustrated. We got his EAD today and I had typed 3/18 instead of 3/16 on the damn papers and no one caught it at biometrics or RFE. I can't believe I messed up the paperwork after I spent so much time looking and looking at it for errors. We were so excited when we got the email he was getting one, and now it's like omg do we have to pay to have this resubmitted since it's our fault about the typo? Cash is short and everything else was right ugh /facepalm I've been trying to look on here, but no one ever updated their information when they had typos similarly. Also, nothing on the interview. I just feel so hopeless because I don't really have the what $380 to pay when it is a simple mistake that should have been caught at biometrics

Oh that sucks. Hopefully you can get that sorted out without any significant costs or hassles...

What is 3/18 and 3/16 is this the birthdate?

In my opinion I guess it will not create a big impact although the entries needs to be corrected. Your EAD serves as proof only if your employer requires you to produce the card. This only happens if you fail on Everify.

Since you were issued an EAD your already on EVerify database although there is a chance of Non conformity with the dates, as per Everify you need to present evidence as show of proof like passport, and other ID that will show your name like state Id card or drivers license and social security card.

Also, you need to update this record not for your EAD but for your GC as the GC is more

Important in the long run.

Hi Guys,

Hours from now Typhoon Hagupit will make landfall in my country. I too is very worried because my family is in the path. Phonelines, internet and power will be cut off and not sure yet when it will be back. Although there is only 1 thing sure the typhoon will cause severe damages.

TO those who had their interview for AOS, I just wanna ask something,, I received the letter from USCIS stating that my interview will be next month. when i submitted my application i didn't submit Form I-639, i only submitted d copy of my medical in St lukes (Philippines), i didn't went to CS, my question for my interview do i need to go to a CS for the complete I-639? (my Medical Vaccination Record Form 3025 is not yet expired, its only been 6 months). Thanx for the answers. God bless

if you came here thru K1 visa you dont need to complete I-639 or see a civil surgeon ..

If you're vaccination record is complete in the ds3025 then you don't need the i-693. I only got the i-693 since I was missing one vaccination at the time of my medical in London. I had the vaccination in the US and then I had to get a i-693 with the updated vaccination record.

I think no need you need to report the typo errors on the birthdate of Your EAD but that will not stop from accepting job offers because the EAD holder is already in everify. There is a possibility that everify will reply non conformity but all you need to do is show your passport and other identification and proceed to social security office.

You may call USCIS and speak with a tier 2 agent I believe it's only for free. And waiting for a replacement will not remove ones work eligibility.
