Did anyone here got a checklist for not putting case number at the upper right hand corner of each document?

You won't get a checklist for not writing the case number. The whole point of writing the case number at the top right is that in case the file gets misplaced, then it's easier to link it back up to the case file. Think of it as insurance, that's all.

Seeing these increased fees, I was hoping to go back to usaspending.gov and find some new contract with Serco that would hint at more workers to clear this backlog. Instead I found they lost their contract. A company called FCi Federal will be providing support at NVC, but I haven't found when the change happens. Serco's contract has a completion date of Jan 31 2015, but who knows. Anyway, just a point of interest: http://fcifederal.com/news/fci-federal-wins-department-state-visa-support-services-vss-contract

Hi there! So, I've been to my doctor for a routine exam and I found out that I have a medical condition which would put me on a possible case expedite (I'm not in a life-dead situation, but I need to be followed constantly by a doctor, and this month I lost my job and with that my insurance in Brazil, but I have a good health insurance in the US due to my husband's job). Anyway, we're considering to send the documents to prove that and ask for an expedite, but in case they deny, would that make my case go slower?? Thanks and congrats to all the CCs!! I can't imagine the joy of it!

It will not delay your case if your expedite does not get approved. If I were you, I will request an expedite right away. I hope your health improves very very soon. Good luck!

I'm with you on this EOC4ever. For the question are u married Part5 qs 3 the answer should be either 0 or blank and not 1 because the household size total would go to 3 then.

Samreen I think you should either leave Part5 qs 3 blank or even 0 is fine there.

I'm pretty sure the web page you're on has a little selection menu where you can select the purpose for the transcript and one of the choices is "immigration" which will let you know which transcript is right for you.

Also, I'm going to post a more general tip that I personally found useful to search for answers to frequently asked questions on VJ:

Go to google.com and in the search bar type: "site:visajourney.com which type of tax transcripts". The first hit of the search query answers your question. You can also click on "search tools" and select how far back in time to search. If you want recent information, you can select "past week," "past month," or "past year."

I'm the USC petitioner. My wife is British (now a USC!!!), generally awesome, and amazingly patient.

WOW am I impressed or what hehehe and ty here's one for you. ;)graphics-egypt-419585.gif

:D Thank you!

:o That is awesome! I love Ancient Egypt and even contemplated Egyptologist as a career

I've loved Egyptian history ever since I could read, since my Grandma, who was a homemaker, had a ton of history books she let me read as a kid. I've been super-lucky to have been able to study something I love, but unfortunately career prospects are pretty non-existant :P Maybe I can teach hieroglyphics at a community college or something :D

IR1 took 520 days....

Oh ya, whenever we learned about Ancient Egypt in like history classes starting in elementary through to college, I was always super excited. It's just so interesting to me! And yeah, lack of options kinda deterred me there.

Ooo, teaching hieroglyphics would be awesome! I'd totally love to take that class :D Funny you mention it, cause today I'm actually wearing a hieroglyph necklace I got hand-made in Egypt (ordered it over Amazon, haha) that spells my name in hieroglyphs.
