General question about forms

Is it ok to staple forms together that have many pages, i.e., passport copy, I-129F petition, phone logs, divorce decree? I thought I saw somewhere that someone said no staples only paper clips. Is that true? I want everything to be correct the first time.... and yes I'm OCD.

Don't staple anything because somebody at uscis will be removing the staple wires to rearrange your files.

As advised above, use paper clips instead to bind those that need to be together and then slide everything in an envelope. Or you can also use a bigger paperclip or binder clip to keep everything intact inside the envelope.

Don't P them off with staplers running in their fingers

use a paper clip...if concerned about separation I'd

You need an original signature, photocopies of documents requiring a signature is not allowed.
