We're on the same boat.. the only difference was I only received 2 letters (employment & travel) but for the notification of I-485 itself wasn't on my mailbox yet..its been 3 days since I received those 2 letters..still waiting for the I-485 notification letter..hope it wasn't lost

Hi everyone! My paper notice hasn't come in the mail yet, but I checked my status online and the 131 and 765 were in "initial review" and 485 in "acceptance." BUT for the 485 it was sent to the Nebraska Service Center, is this normal??? Did anyone get this??

Hi All! I'm coming to this late, but I'm a July AOS filer as well. We mailed our I 765 (EAD) and I 485 (AOS) to the lockbox on July 25th and received our NOA1s on July 31st. Our letters came a few days ago in the mail, too! My husband opted not to do the Advance Parole, so we didn't file it (which makes me a little nervous, but he saw no reason to go back and visit before the AOS is done......we'll see.....)

I called USCIS today because they made a typo on our NOA1 letter--weirdly, the I-765 letter had the address perfectly worded, whereas the I 485 had a slight typo (We're on a "Hill Circle" and they put "Street"). The letters BOTH arrived at the same time, so it's not like the typo affected if we received the letter or not, but the USCIS agent said it's better to correct it and it doesn't slow down our case. Oy.

That said, she mentioned that our case was already at Indianapolis and they were getting ready to send us our appointment letter--nice and fast!!

Anyway--best of luck to all of you :)

2/3/14 I-129F Mailed

6/16/14 Embassy Interview--Approved!!!!

7/11/14 Marriage :)

7/25/14 AOS + Work Authorization Mailed to Chicago Lockbox

7/31/14 NOA1--Electronic Notification

8/26/14 Biometrics Appointment--Indianapolis

9/18/14 EAD approved--Electronic Notification

2/15/15 Notice of Interview Waiver (and Case Delay due to heavy processing load)

5/5/15 RFE (Requested another certified copy of marriage license)

5/14/15 Submitted Materials for RFE

5/28/15 Greencard Approved/In Production!!!!!

Does it say acceptance in the three forms? (I485-i130 & i765) i tok my biometrics last thursday after less than a month from filing. My case status says acceptance in the i485 and initial review for the other 2. It was last updated on july 15th ? arg this whole waiting thing is killing me!

I got a letter from Selective Service today, thanking me for signing up - I assume this is a regular part of the AOS process considering it says it right on the form. However, I've not yet received anything from USCIS indicating the case is moving forward, other than having my biometrics done a month ago. The case tracker on the website even still says "acceptance".

Does getting the Selective service letter indicate my petition has been approved, or at least moving forward?

Did you already have your official letter? I was wondering why I only received 2 letters (employment & travel) but I haven't received the notification for I-485 itself

Yes I got the letters last Saturday. I got 6 letters from USCIS since im Adjusting Status with my daughter. I got the letter for the Adjustment of Status, for the Work Authorization and for the Advance Parole..

I wonder why you only got two.. Hopefully you will receive it soon and hope it wasn't lost.

I had the same dilemma before. It took 16 days from the time we sent our AOS packet to getting an email/text notification from USCIS and 19 days to get the actual NOA1 mail. As you see from other people here, they too got their notifications several days after their packet was sent and accepted by USCIS.

Hi! When did you send your papers?

I just got a text/email notification from them this afternoon stating that my case is now ready for interview scheduling (testing and interview). Wow! I sure hope I receive an interview appointment date soon.

Question...on the email they sent me it says...

"Your I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS is now ready for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview. If you have not received the notice within 30 days of the date the notice is mailed, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address."

Does that mean that I should be receiving a notice with a date and time for my interview WITHIN the next 30 days? Someone please clarify!

Thank you!
