AOS, EAD, AP application were received July 1st - Nebraska Service Center

Biometrics was done on July 28th

Haven't heard anything back since then...not even a change in status....

I've got a domestic trip planned for Sept. 18. I am worried that they may schedule an interview on the date of my trip. Should I be worried?

Depending on how long your trip is. From timelines looks like interviews scheduled now will be in Early Oct

We are going to have our interview exactly 2 weeks from today. Getting really anxious! Ahhhh!

I still have to sit down with my husband and familiarize him with the paperwork since I was the one that pretty much took care of everything.

Your interview is scheduled pretty fast! Have you done anything to it? Ours been pending for weeks still waiting for scheduling...

Hey there:

My husband received his biometrics appointment letter for both his EAD and AOS applications (the receipt #s were both on there), and he completed biometrics yesterday. That said, on the USCIS case status, our EAD receipt # is in initial review, which is fine, but AOS hasn't moved from "Acceptance" to initial review ever--even though we received our NOA1 confirmation, receipt #, and biometrics listed it on there as well. Is anyone else having this problem?

Below on the USCIS case status, it said the "Acceptance" stage is usually completed in 2 business days after receiving an application.....but it's been a few weeks. If the file was to be returned because it was incomplete or misfiled, we would never have received a receipt number with proof that we paid all the fees (we DID receive all that), would we?

Hi Sweetpie! Not really. We did not call our congressman to expedite anything. 1 week and a half after I did my walk in biometrics, I received the notification that our interview has been scheduled. Now, we are just gathering as much documents as we can and still going through our photos. Next week, we are meeting with our lawyer for an interview prep.

Where is your local office? Ours is in Santa Ana and it doesn't seem as busy as the other offices.

We had the same thing for a few weeks then it skipped over Initial Review and went directly to Testing and Interview 2 days ago.

Exciting! This is the first case of a July filer (adjusting from a K1) getting an update on processing, that I've seen anyway! Good luck!

Thanks! We haven't gotten the letter in the mail yet to see when our interview date will be. We're hoping we may just get it approved and not have to interview. Time will tell. I hope your update comes through soon!

We got a biometrics appointment letter on 20 August (dated 16 Aug). The appointment is 2 September in the Dallas office. The AOS status is still sitting on acceptance, but AP/EAD are in initial review.

Mine is the same, I think most people have the same. I did my biometrics one week ago from tomorrow.

Now just a waiting game to see what happens.
