Im at the nvc stage and I submitted the d-261 over a month ago.it showed complete. I called the nvc about 2 weeks ago to ask why the iv bill is not available to pay and they said give it another week or 2.. So I go and review the d-261 and accidently resubmitted it. now when I called today they said they only got the d261 today. so it will be 20-30 days from today is there anyway to fix this?

Call NVC back and ask for a Supervisor.

around after may 14....so about 3weeks then. I guess I was rounding off to a month I filled out d261. Dwheels I did call and speak to tier 2 rep and she said they have to go by whats in system.

the supervisor also said I cannot send the aos package and the iv packet together. I read on here somewhere where you can send 2 packets in one envelope. sigh.

Whoever said that is an idiot. People send together everyday. Maybe they thought you were sending the IV package in before you paid. But no you can send together.

But honestly you paid AOS fee why not send it in now, so they can be looked at accepted and out the way since that's the most difficult of the two packages and gets the most checklist.

You paid your AOS fees on 5/16. You should have sent in your AOS package soon after. You have delayed the processing of your case quite a bit.

I thought I could send them together so I was waiting for the Iv bill to be paid and send them in same envelope.

Your AOS would be reviewed faster if you sent them separately.

You are delaying yourself so send the AOS right away.

Got a hold of a nice rep and he was about to say what the other rep said and he stops himself and apologizes and said...it looks like whatever I did wrong worked out in the end because the iv bill should be available for me to pay in 2-3 day, maybe even tomorrow.. :joy:omgee just checked now. I can pay today.
