Well, quiet here, shhh man. Am torn whether to cat-prep-zzz or to make my first 1, 2, or Many lunches for the week. It's Mrs. T-B.'s week to do this, although she sounded utterly thrilled ("I'll do it, but I hate it"), and she's sound asleep with Mini-B. right now. Maybe it'll make her feel guilty if I go ahead and do it, so that's the plan, whee man.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Doing IUI tomorrow morning and Tuesday. Also ooooo yah.

I love all the time I get to spend in stirrups lately.

Good luck Nola

I didn't care for all the stirrups either.

Dog next door bit me in face. Just got back from hospital.....

Feel better soon!

Yes you guys saw pics of my kid and that dog. For 7 years, that dog played with, me, my kiddo, and my dogs.....

I dunno what happened......

I got 5 lacerations, 4 stitches, all bruised up, from 1 bite

Hopefully they figure out what set the dog off so their is not a repeat.

LOL Tbone.

those are good ideas.

Thank you, si ma'am. The #1, #2, & #Many lunches are made, whee man. Furthermore, the cat didn't stir once while zzz-ing on the sofa, despite the racket made with the tin foil and stapler, miu man.

I didn't care for all the stirrups either.

TMCI (Too Much Chica Information), D ma'am. For the record, the only stirrups that a red-blooded Yanqui male would think of are dangling from a horse, ridden while herding cattle across the Old West, yeehaaaaa man.

I'll be honest Tbone... it took me a second to realize what stirrups they're talking about.

nLr - We are having problems with the Dane not having a credit report either, I couldn't get him on the house insurance. It is weird because I opened two joint credit cards with him. We are going to try and open a credit/secured card in just his name and see if that will do it.

Thinking about Steveklar... probably on heavy pain-meds or wishing that he were. Injuries to the face are not fun in any way whatsoever, no man. Regular reports, si man.

1- face is swollen

2- Already have scarface from Marines

3- No need to attract women no mo (Altho it happens daily :content: )

9- Thanks for all your well wishes

B- no going to work

Feel better soon!

Hopefully they figure out what set the dog off so their is not a repeat.

Thanks Stretch

I'm not talking to that dog no mo.

It bit the hand that feeds him. It's over.

it was unprovoked. i was petting it as I've done for years. may be hes gone senile.

I had a foster dog that went nuts like that. Actually I wasn't fostering, I was evaluating the dog after he went off on a foster. Dog would just go nuts and attack, even attacking thin air like he was seeing things. The dog had to be put down, because no way you could make him safe. As long as you kept him occupied, he seemed ok. He actually acted very friendly, wanting pets and such. But when you didn't keep him occupied continuously, he'd go nuts and attack people, things and thin air. Wonder if a similar thing is happening with that dog?

I guess I expected him to do it. $500 grill. He already broke it within 10 mins of getting it as a present, because he is a silly man on occasion.

Love my new grill, it was a bit over $500 though. I'm regularly giving it a good cleaning, and it gets used pretty often to. I want this one to last for the next 10 years.

I just injected myself in the stomach with hamster eggs. Oooo yah.

Is that how baby hamsters are made?

Ladies and Gents, I was finally able to do it.

I got rid of the PT Lemon this weekend and got a brand new car.

Pretty much bare bones.

No auto locks (but auto windows, okay whatever weird) and no cruise control, but hell, the horn even works now.

I sort of feel like the sh*t in my head right now because I am just so happy to be done with that POS.

Also, BS, my sister (7.5 years younger) is pregnant. Pffffffffffffft.

And I still live in mommy's house.

But one step at a time, right?
