Congratulation bstngrl.

I have been in line since 7/18 9 days after you, hope to get mine soon , would you please let me know, when you get the interview letter which location you going to boston or Lawrence.

Sure, Reds. I'll update here.

I usually go to Boston location, and I had my bio-metrics done in Boston. I'll be surprised if it's Lawrence this time. But we'll see.

"" Any ideas why would some have yellow letter before being in line for interview ? Will that affect their timeline? ""

A friend of mine forgot to include his tax papers to his file, received a yellow letter even before his fingerprint appointment letter was sent to him ... The yellow letter is usually a reminder of a close interview date or a request for more documents needed by USCIS to process the case....I don't think it s something to be scared of.

I got my yellow letter a month ago... about 3 weeks after being in line. On the application, it lists various things to include to prove marriage. I chose a couple, but they requested I bring in the items I didn't choose to include with my application. (I sent birth certificates of our kids and marriage license). They wanted tax transcripts. Why ask for this OR this OR this? They should have asked for this AND this AND this. Anyway... I agree... yellow letter is nothing to be afraid of :)

aidore,

did you sign up for email or text notification - if so check them and you wlll find your case number.

Otherwise, the other option is to make an Infopass and get your case number - not sure if customer service will provide that number over the phone.
