has anyone done this yet i am about to send one just wanted to make sure someone at least got through

I just did! Not that I expect anyone to do anything about it, but I still believe in the freedoms that this country offers me, and I wanted to use that freedom to voice my opinion. Hope more of us would do the same and at some point one of their readers would catch the trend and take it to someone with authority that can actually do something for the better good of this country; something like fixing archaic processes or distribution schemes that make no sense whatsoever and only hinder the progress of all these petitions that are just pending for months at a time.

Hold strong, and just know that one day this will all be over, and you will be with your loved one forever. This is just a test of your love for each other, and if you can get through this, your love will be that much more strong.

God bless you all!

YAY!!! That makes 3 of us. Now hopefully more people will join in. It seriously takes 5 minutes. With this 5 month wait Im sure all of us TSC petitioners can spare the time. :D

Wouldn't hurt to make a friendly complaint.

I want to do this but I don't feel comfortable complaining about a situation I don't know enough about, plus I'm still within normal processing time. If the approvals don't pick up by next month or if USCIS officially admits there's a backlog at TSC I'll write something. Thanks for the link!

We got approved in like three weeks at the California Service Center and I am happy about that but I also feel for the one at the texas center. We were lucky enough to have our petition sent to California. This certainly isn't fair...

"Going to make this short and sweet cause I can't imagine how many comments you receive on a daily basis. I am filing an I-129F petition for my fiance in Indian. I do not understand how the USCIS distributes petitions between CSC and TSC. Many petitioners find it unfair that the two service centers are currently processing petitions at very different rates. Currently, from my understanding, CSC is processing petitions from March and TSC is processing petitions from November and December. Something needs to be done so that approval times can be more consistent no matter where your petition is sent. Thank you for your time. I hope to hear back from you."

Everyone should email them. Especially if your petition went to TSC. Only takes 5 minutes of your life.

I want to do it too but I'm afraid...:(

Or an email attacking the USCIS. You saw what I wrote, I posted it in this forum.

I'd have an argument if TSC and CSC had the same amount of petitions to adjudicate, but TSC has almost triple the amount of petitions that CSC has (6,716 vs 2,648), so from that perspective it's understandable that CSC is moving faster. I suppose I could write about distributing the petitions better so that things could even out...

One post removed and returned below, with objectionable part edited out:

The unequal treatment of beneficiaries and petitioners should be a troublesome issue to everyone who has a petition in process at the TSC. So, who's willing to meet in Texas [and] hold a sign with me if necessary?

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I only just filed, but knowing I may not see my love again until next year depresses me (even though I've come to accept it). I feel for those of you who have been waiting & I'm happy for those at the csc who have been approved. Regardless, I used the link posted above & wrote to them...not so much personally, but on behalf of all petitioners. Good luck to everyone.

I am the petitioner.

Off topic : csc said they mailed us the approval on the 18th and it's 23rd today and nothing in the mail. We are in Illinois. Could it be that they made a mistake or does it really take a week for that later to come here from cali
