Yes, once you receive your gc you will no longer be an international student. Contact the international student program at your school, they have advisors the help

Thank you for your answer!

My international advice suggested that I show her my marriage certificate and once I receive my NOAs. Just send a copy for her, so she can release me as an international student.

Your school might require it differently. So ask your counselor or school admission.

So I will wait until I have my NOAs; then I will meet my counselor.

Thank you for your information !

Did you get messesge/email from uscis?

Nothing yet! You? It seems that we have to wait few more days

Hey, don't worry too much. I guess we will get response from USICS next week . Perhaps, in Chicago office , they have too many filers, so it takes more time for them to check all cases.

Pray and wait!

Hello fellas,

I just received the hard copy NOAs, and noticed something unusual. My A# was a completely different from the one I have submitted the applications with. Could it be it might have been changed for technical matters, or could it be an error on their part. Did anyone else notice it? I thank you! (applied during my OPT)

Mine is the same since K1 and the same number as in the application. I don't know what you mean "OPT".

But I think it'd be better to call customer service to make sure everything is alright and they don't miss something or make mistake. (The number is somewhere on the notice). It might be possible that they generate new A# for you.

Good Luck
