Ok, so what makes one eligible for an interview waiver? and how many more months do we have to wait? do we just receive it in the mail right away or would there be an update online? I was just worried that they forgot about our AOS since it never changed its status from acceptance lol

There is 50/50 chance to get interview waiver for who came to US under K-1 visa. If you are the one that gets interview waiver, then you will receive letter by mail ( no status changing online, no text or email). As far as I seen, if the case status was not changing to Testing and Interview after biometric about 2 months, then this case will be interview waiver ( not 100 % sure).

New Journey AOS:

My fiancee came to US on the 8th of March, 2014 under K-1 visa at Newark, NJ Airport for POE.

Applied Social Security Number on the 10 of March, 2014.

Married on the 13th of March, 2014.

Sent I-485, I-765, and I-131 on the 15th of March, 2014.

Received EAD on June 7, 2014.

Received Notice of Potential Interview Waiver on July 1, 2014 date 6/27

Contacted Ombudsman on 01/12/2015.

Ombudsman contacted USCIS on 02/20/2015.

Ombudsman sent a follow up to USCIS on 03/18/2015.

I-485 approved on 03/31/2015 ( we ordered your card).

Welcome notice was mailed on 04/01/2015.

Received Welcome Notice on 04/08/2015.

Card was mailed to me/picked up by USPS on 04/08/2015.

Received GC on 4/10/2015.

Hi,

Yesterday I received an email from USCIS mentioning "i-485 Your Case Status: Testing and Interview" But I have not received anything about EAD. I want to know how long will it take to get my EAD? The email from USCIS is like this:

USCIS sent my EAD card at the wrong address....I went to post office and they showed that USCIS wrote wrong apartment number....:(

04/21/2014 sent out I-485, I-130, I-765

I was at the Social Security Administration office yesterday to apply for my Social Security Number. After handing over the form, my international passport and EAD, the lady went on to process whatever needed on the computer. She asked if my mother's maiden name was same as my surname because, I had enter filled same surname for my mother and I. She requested for my mother's maiden name, I spelt it out to her and she completed whatever she was doing on the computer. After about 10 minutes, she said I will receive my Social Security Card in the mail within 2 weeks. I told her I would love to receive just my number while I await the card because of work purpose. And she told me my number will be available today if I needed it.

I was at the Social Security Administration office at about 9:40am this morning, and got my social security number on a printed sheet. I thank God for His goodness, considering how people have shared on here their experience of their information not being at the Social Security Administration office when they go apply. I would advice anyone who receives their EAD to apply for SSN if they are eager to work while waiting for their interview date or interview!

finally got my EAD....My next door neighbour came and delivered it thus evening. My mail landed in her mailbox.

We're still in "acceptance," too - guessing we hit the no interview lottery at this point. Be nice to know, though; then there's a least a bit of time before we have to gear up for it all again.

Today i receive notification that they had shipped my EAD & AP combo.But there's no tracking number.is this normal?

Two days; sent USPS two-day express. I'm not sure if that's normal for everyone, though, as we did successfully expedite his EAD.

I filed back on April 10th and we had our interview today. No decision made on the spot and now we have to wait up to 30 days to see if finally after all the stress we got through!
