Is the RFE an opportunity to submit more evidence NOT REQUESTED?

When I sent in my I-129F originally I had no pictures of my fiance and I together. While waiting for approval I visited him again and thus have pictures, passport stamps, et cetera. I got an RFE for page 5 of the I-129F where I overlooked some questions - very basic.

I've heard that front-loading your I-129F is important so would like to know if it is advisable to send these additional materials in a response to an unrelated RFE?

Does anyone have any experience or thoughts regarding submitting additional evidence of my relationship along with this RFE or should I just send it to my fiance for the interview?

07/28/2014 - COMPUTER GLITCH. Still waiting for visa.

08/04/2014 - ISSUED!

08/07/2014 - Visa received!!!!!!!!!!!

08/12/2014 - US ENTRY!!!!!!!

08/13/2014 - Applied for SSN

08/19/2014 - Received Social Security Card

08/22/2014 - Obtained Marriage License

09/08/2014 - We are married!

09/18/2014 - Filed I-485 & I-765

09/26/2014 - NOA 1 / I-485 & I-765

10/23/2014 - Biometrics Appointment

11/07/2014 - EAD card ordered to be produced
11/17/2014 - Employment Authorization card received!
02/18/2015 - Notice of Potential Interview Waiver Case received
07/03/2015 - Notice of Permanent Residency Approval / Welcome Notice received! (Issued 06/27/2015)
02/03/2016 - Got him out of my house.
05/27/2016 - Divorce finalized.

Remember, when they request RFE, this is the only time they do so. So you have this only chance to prove your case. We sent everything we have, and we got the approval. More evidences better than lack of them.

Front-loading is important for some embassies, not all of them, so I would check the reviews for the Brazilian Embassy to see what they require and what tends to work effectively.

The visit after filing the petition does not count for the meeting requirement of the I-129F, but if you want to have that evidence in your file already when it gets to the consulate, then sure, add it. Just make sure to provide what was requested on the RFE and make that 'top level' and most important in your response.

The visit after filing the petition does not count for the meeting requirement of the I-129F, but if you want to have that evidence in your file already when it gets to the consulate, then sure, add it. Just make sure to provide what was requested on the RFE and make that 'top level' and most important in your response.

That's what I did. I had already met him and sent passport stamps, et cetera to prove it with my petition. This would just go to show the legitimacy of my relationship. Thanks! :)

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
