Hello everyone,

My fiance and I have planned to file a Fiance Visa (K1) this June 2014. So now we are reviewing the forms and starting to

gather proofs of our relationship and our communicatons.

We started chatting September 2012 onwards...(we are over a year of chatting)

So my question is, What dates do I start to print-out for our proof of communications and how many pages needed?

Do I have to print-out 2 to 5 dates each month of conversation or more?

We are communicating at least 4 times a week (16 times a month).

Hope anyone can share us their ideas...Thanks and God Bless!

You don't have to submit proof of ongoing relationship with K-1 until the Consulate phase. I only sent proof that we met in the past 2 years.

When did you meet in person? Because that's what they really wanna know now.

Oh I'm so sorry. I mixed up because I read the whole process of K1 steps until the issuance of the visa.

I realized that my question is for "What to send to your fiance(e) once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2):"

and one of those is to show the proof of on going communication...So how many pages and what dates (range of dates) do I start to gather?

So hope anyone share ideas about this...Thank you!

1. Copies of all airline boarding passes, train passes, itineraries, hotel receipts, passport stamps (make sure you can read the dates on the stamps), and other documentary evidence that you have met within the last two years. You may want to highlight or place post-it notes indicating the dates and locations on the copies (to make the adjudication easier) for the person reviewing your file.

2. Color Photo's of you and your fiance(e) together. Make sure you write your names, date, and location on the back of every photo. Provide two to five photo's. If you only have a single copy of the photo, then make a color copy and send that. If it is a digital photo, have it printed at a local photo store such as Walgreens (if at all possible) or if not on a high quality printer. Place photo's in a plastic bag or photo sheet and label the sheet. Note that you may not receive originals of photo's back.

3. The following items will not typically show proof of having met in the last two years however will show proof of an ongoing relationship: Copies of land line and cell phone bills, appropriate letters and emails, stamps on the letters (to document the date they were sent), and other written documentary proof. Provide a reasonable amount; two to four of each type. Pick a range of dates up to and including the present. You can also include a copy of engagement ring receipt (this is something that is a big optional - do not worry if you do not have a ring yet!)

I will be supplying said documents also. You're basically supposed to provide logs from conversations between NOA1 & NOA2. I was just notified of my NOA1 yesterday, so I will start compiling. I will use Skype call logs primarily. But my recommendation to you is to provide as much data as possible on as few sheets as possible. But I'm sure there are vets on this site that will chime in later. People who've gone through it & can actually tell you what they did & what worked, as opposed to me just telling you what I plan to do.

Print out a representative selection whose content will show the natural progression of a relationship.

It's all about content and not size.

So you mean sending your entire whatsapp conversation history is a bad idea?

But mine is only 922,944 characters as it stands right now.

No it does NOT show proof of a relationship. On it's own it only shows proof of regular communication. It's all about the content within that will show proof of a relationship. And, you don't want to send in everything lest you bore the poor adjucator or Embassy CO will all this stuff.

If all you talk about is visa fraud or some other criminal activity or planning of such, that's not the relationship that will get you a visa.

Every relationship goes through a fairly typical progression.....it is suggested that folks think about drafting a document that is tittled "Evolution of Our Relationship". In it would describe how you first met, what you talked about first, getting to know each other, then maybe agreeing to meet in person....at some stage it grows and then eventually you agree to marry. The conversation should change at this point and then agreeing to immigrate to the US and then about life in the US. This document would then point to specific evidences from those you listed to show this progression. That would be the proof of a relationship that USCIS and the Embassy wants to see.

It doesn't hurt and u lose nothing by showing all evidence of your relationship. Individual cases vary so better be armed than regret. I saw people come with huge volumes of evidence during my interview. Put all your arsenal together and go for the kill.

Good luck

For the I-129F all that is needed is proof of having met in person within the past two years. Proof of an ongoing relationship is for later during the embassy interview.
