AOS for mother of US citizen under VWP

Wow , i am simply amaze about all this things. A us citizen relative can adjust status inside of the USA. My mother came with a Visa and i send I-130, I-485, I-864, and the employment Form. A week ago and my mother just receive her notice of action. Dont listen to all this #######, send the papers , i came with a visa and here i married my husband and now i am a USA CITIZEN. It was my husband right and now its my right to have my mother with me. Go for it.

The law prohibits entering the US with an instrument intended for visiting with the intent of not leaving after a visit. The fact that come people have no morals when it comes to ignoring the law does not make it right nor should it be condoned. It is like the drinking age being 21 and people drinking before that and thinking it is cool. Both sets of people are breaking the law

The law is about intent on entry. To enter with intent means you are a criminal even if you aren't caught and punished

A tourist visa is for visiting and leaving. An immigrant visa is for coming and staying. If it were legal to AOS on a tourist visa there would be no need for an immigrant visa.

You are wrong about intent. If its not a problem as you claim, then what you think will happen when mom tells the CBP officer that she plans to adjust once she enters on the VWP?

Cut and dried... Entering the USA on a tourist visa with the n tent to immigrate is immigration fraud plain and simple. When entering the USA, you certify that your intent is to visit ... As all others have stated, what you are proposing is illegial since your mother is not here and will clearly be entering with the intent to immigrate, not visit. If asked at POE, and she tells the truth that she is here not as a tourist, but as an immigrant, she will be turned away at the border... Do it the legal way.. She can visit while it is in process..
