If she's American, she's not technically immigrating, she's simply moving. But, it shouldn't be a big deal. Just mention it at the interview that you made a small mistake.

If you didn't file taxes jointly, then no, W2s aren't needed. But, if you need to show individual income in cases of filing jointly, then W2s are needed as tax transcripts show combined income.

Got it....Thanks :)

Remember, the package won't show up in their system until the review has started. There was no need to send the package again. It'll actually probably cause a delay as when they receive it, if your case has been closed, then they'll have to re-open it.

You cannot. It will simply delay them reviewing your IV package until it shows as paid. Has the money left your account?

Yes i paid on Thursday, money left account on friday and i mailed it out on friday. I thought by monday it will come up as Paid and the package delivered too. Well package is delivered but fee is still in process.

Just wanted to stay on top of my game.

did any of the people that got approved last week of February get a case number yet?

That is WAY too soon for a case number! Looking at my spreadsheet, looks like NVC is assigned case numbers to those with received dates in the last week of January. You've still got at least a month to go before you get a case number...

-I saw the spreadsheet :) But I was hoping that some people just forgot to update or something lol..I hate this waiting game .I am thinking I should just go overseas and wait it out with him over there that way it's less stressful

-My case was approved on the 27th , should I call now to check if they received it ?

To be honest. I wouldn't bother. give them 30 days to receive it and you may get lucky with a case number. but if you like to bang your head off the wall? LOL

My question is that I don't work, My dad doesn't have enough income, and I can't find a joint sponsor. What can I do now? my husband lives in Pakistan and If I decide to Use my in laws income, how does that work? is there a poverty line in that as well? and How will NVC accept it if its not from a US Citizen? and what forum would I have to fill for this? and in case my in laws income isn't enough, then what should I do? I really need help in this. I've been stuck with AOS for the past month and a half and just want to find a solution already.

Only I can update the spreadsheet and only if people tell me there's anything new.

You can if you wish, but I'd suggest just calling once a week or so as it'll be awhile before anything happens.

My question is that I don't work, My dad doesn't have enough income, and I can't find a joint sponsor. Joint sponsors can only be US citizens or residents. So, the beneficiary's parents won't be able to help if they're citizens of Pakistan.

You either need to find a joint sponsor or get a job that will cover your household size.
