I'm at day 76. It's feeling quite eternal here. I think the fact that my day took a rather unfortunate turn when one of my students stood up and screamed at me at the top of her lungs didn't help this feeling. I'm very bah right now.

----edit------

AND I just looked at my time line and my adjudication estimate jumped from April 12 to April 19. GRRRRRRR!

I know the feeling Miranda. Im on day 117 and still waiting for an approval. I sent back my RFE on 2/28 and it just seems worse now then it did before i got any life from CSC at all.

im becoming discouraged and well tonight is one of those depressed nights.

Hang in there, we are all here for eachother.

Hugs,

Tara

Dont be depressed, you should be happy, we received the same answer two weeks ago that our cases are under review - you got the RFE so at least you know they are working on your petition and after they received the docs they need you are going to get your approval.

We havent heard anything yet and it has already been 135 days :crying: well Im depressed more than ever because we dont even know whats going on with our petition and the uscis wouldnt tell us, we are wondering if they are doing some backroundchecks???? we sent them an email last wednesday and they have never replied

Good luck Tara and be happy, you will get your approval soon.

Been there too hon...I remember haunting my timeline...trying not to look at it everyday because that adjudication date would move further and further away. VERY depressing. Instead, I started watching other people's petitions...when they posted about their NOA2, I would look at their NOA1 date and try to guage whether or not ours would be soon. I began to see couples who were a day or so ahead of us, getting their NOA2's. It wasn't long (and CERTAINLY NOT according to the timeline adjudication date!) before we got our NOA2 as well. :)

Hang in there...I know how you feel. Talk to your beloved as much as possible too - that helps tremendously. ((((((((((((((((((Miranda)))))))))))))))))) (F)

AND I just looked at my time line and my adjudication estimate jumped from April 12 to April 19. GRRRRRRR!

I would like to clarify what does this actually mean? Is this a rough estimate of when the service center approves it and sends the file to the consulate and then, depending on which consulate, you wait another 3 months approx for interview? OR is this estimated time for getting the actual visa approved? And where does the timeline calculate this timing? is it only from the data recieved in this forum - ie: those people that actually fill in and update their timelines? If so THEN WE MUST STRESS THAT EVERYONE SHOULD FILL THIS TIMELINE IN!!! Maybe Captain Ewok can put that in the main message and kinda make it a requirement for this forum. I know lots of people come in and ask general questions and havent filed any petitions yet - maybe they can just fill in something like "Not filed yet". IT also cuts down on replies to posts as I personally get tired of someone posting a message and ofcourse not enough information is provided and at what stage they are at and they get like 2 - 3 replies asking for more info. I dont think its very effficient enough and delays ppl getting their advice, plus it gets tiredsome for people like me just sitting there and scrolling down all the replies asking for more info. et. (I dont know if its just me that feels this way - I am, soprry if it is LOL) I'm sorry these are just my thoughts ..... But all in all this forum is very good and I think I have used it more than the british expats site :)

Oh, geez... I can imagine how worried you are! Vermont uses to be so fast! That's really weird the fact that they are taking all this time to approve your case! Have you already called or contacted them?

Anyway, I hope yours to be approved soon... You waited too long already!

Good luck! ;)
