No NOA2 as of yet (5 months on Sunday) but some other exciting news I just wanted to share with people who will understand why it's exciting :) My fiance was having lunch with our realtor today and mentioned that I'm in review at the TSC and he wants to contact the NJ congressman soon and our realtor says (as if it's no biggie): 'oh, he's one of my best friends, let me call him!' and she whips out her cell, calls him directly and asks him to call the TSC for us this week! He's handling our case on Wednesday  I'm jumping up and down right now, hoping this will actually work out  kinda shellshocked

Did you buy a home already through that realtor? It would only be fair if you did

I also called today uscis as my NOA1 is from January 15th and I was told that I am still within normal processing time and they can't put a request in for me till after 43days. I emailed my senators and congressman I hope they can et more than the generic "we are working on dec 3rd". So frustrating!!! Ughhhhhhhj

Ok, on the sites it says "5 months" for both processing centers. Yet, when you call to put in a service request, at 5 months, some get through, most don't & they're saying 6-7. Some are fully admitting to there being a severe backlog. Yet, when government officials call, they're told 5 months. Has anyone tried recording these conversations, contacting their senators & playing the recording as evidence? Maybe this will get something done? I feel for you guys, & personally, I want my Matt here by Christmas, which is possible if I get my noa2 by September (5 months). I'm seeing filers from MAY at CSC already having interviews scheduled & it's not fair. It's not fair for any of you (& clearly I can't do anything cuz I'm only at 2 months) but perhaps if they keep being pushed & evidence is showed, they'll be forced to work overtime or something & catch up. All I know is if I'm told I have to wait , I'll tell them I'm calling back every single day & I'll be persistent. Oh, I'll wait my 5 months, but I'm a stubborn person & this process is unfair. I hope to god they start moving faster & all dec & jan are approved this week. (Sorry for my rant. But I do think someone should try recording a conversation)

I am the petitioner.

Tried to put in a service request but got the whole Dec 3rd answer as to why I can't. The lady told me to call back at the end of June if I still don't get anything. It seems like the call center is not the way to go. I'm going to try and call the government officials that I wrote to. Also I filled out the complaint form with ombudsman.

Hi everybody! Can I, the beneficiary, call USCIS to get a service request? We wanna try that but I am not sure of getting a service request after reading your posts u.u

My bf can call around 5 530 pm when he gets off from work and when he tried to get a TIER 2 last Friday, after waiting for 45 mins they hung up at 6 pm.

All this process is so frustrating :(

Yup. I called twice, the first one gave me the Dec 3rd. The second time they told me to call back by the end of June too.

Soooo strange that I managed to get a service request, I called today expecting to get no where and to hear the same ####### they tell everyone. I really just wanted to know the exact date that I could call back to file the service request. Aside from answering the basic questions I let the rep do most of the talking...I mean...I don't know how she did it? She obviously succeeded if I was able to get a request ID # confirmation, but I really don't know how. As soon as she said she could file it I didn't question it and kept my mouth shut. I would keep trying!!

Thank you soooo much. and yes they are going through Jan filers as well as December filers. I believe it depends on the adjudicator. My fiancé and I have been praying and hoping all month that we will get our NOA 2 soon and I can't believe we received it today. I know we still have a long way to go, but at least the longest wait is over!!!!!

I can not wait until I see some more Jan filers NOA 2. we all have been waiting soooo long!!!!

I thought processing for Phillipines is expedited and has no bearing with the normal processing timeline at all? If that's the case, you can't conclude processing for January has started.

Also, why would folks who are going thru expedites post things here when the normal timelines do not apply to them?
