Hi everyone,

I am wondering if anyone who has already gone through this process has some advice about phone records and Excel. My phone company sent my records to me on a CD which contains an excel sheet of 190 pages. It lists all my text messages over a 6 month period, both with my fiance and other people. Since I know that I can't submit the CD and will need to print the records, I am wondering if it is best to print all 190 pages or to sort based on numbers first and then print out only the relevant phone calls. I am a little nervous to sort them because I do not want the excel sheet to look modified (since it is not on official company letterhead or anything).

Any advice? Should I sort or print out all 190 pages and highlight the appropriate calls?

Thanks so much!

Good lord, 190 pages is a lot. :) Maybe just present a selection of call/text logs over the span of your relationship? I think they'll get the drift...

I actually printed off two years worth of itemized phone records and painstakingly highlighted every phone call I ever made to my husband!!! As we called each other at least ten times a day when we were apart it took a long time to complete. But it was one of the required documents to file with my AOS application rolleyes.gif My Lawyers assistant called me and said that my file weight at least 10lbs when they posted it LOL!!!

Day 0 - 12/06/2013 - AOS package mailed

I think my Immigration attorney would very much agree with your answer... Im sure he rolled his eyes when he received hundreds of pages of phone logs... my motto was "better to have to much than too little".... My lawyer would just reply "you have more than enough" LOLdancin5hr.gif

this is true - not looked at during the interview.

however, if submitted with the I-129F,

then that's 24 days the IV officers have to review everything, prior to interview.

We have over 300 pages with smaaaall letters from "whatsapp mssger".

Then we use viber and skype to talk. But the problem is that we talk 24 hours a day hahahah sometimes we leave skype on while we sleep. So on my interview i ll take them the whatsapp msgs and i ll print statements from paypal that my fiance sends me money.

Yep you're right...! 90pecent of the time they don't even look at these phone & text records at the interview.

My wife just finished her interview last month. The loads of phone, email & other evidence we had was not even looked at. Not a single question was asked her and we easily got an approval. She's is here with me cool & dandy!

However, I agree that it's better to have these phone records/evidence than not. OP good luck!

I am sure you can sort, as opposed to printing 190 pages and highlighting. After all, if they want to know about your call records its not as if they don't already have that information...

I had phone records from my Skype subscription starting from 2010. I did not print all of them. I chose from different months randomly. I also had chat, call logs on Skype from 2008. From Skype, it is automatically converted to Excel. I did not modified. My suggestion, just print some of those, use print button on web browser. We got approved I-129F in 38 days without RFE. We did not send tons of papers.
