Thats weird! coz it says on the cover sheet

"You MUST RETURN THIS COVER SHEET with the

Petitioner's completed forms and supporting documents.
Failure to do so will delay your visa(s).
Please attach this page to the front of the documents for
this case and mail to

oh okei.. so barcoded cover sheet is different from the receipt with barcode? huh2.gif

Yup, bar coded cover sheet is just a plain piece of paper that says document cover sheet in bigger font and then your name, instructions, address where to send the AOS, and a barcode below with your case number.

Hi all, I'm a September filer and just got my case transferred. But I'm preparing my NVC package now and had two really quick questions I couldn't get answered in the opening posts of this thread:

1. I made more than double the income requirement to bring my wife and baby here this past year. Does everyone suggest sending my prior two tax transcripts in addition to my most recently filed return copy? Or can I just send the most recent one? My 2011 Income was just about the minimum they require and my 2012 income was almost the same as this past year's.

2. Does my wife get an A-Number when she gets her NOA2? Or is that only for I-129Fs? I'm asking because I'd like to fill out and print the I-864 right now, but don't know what to put in the A-Number box.

Thanks! :)

A-number isn't needed. Unless the petitioner or sponsor is/was an LPR they won't have one. Normally for the beneficiary this is assigned after you get the visa.

[...]

There's other instances where you can have an A number. I'm an example. I got mine assigned when I was denied the first time at the airport. The immigration officer opened up a file and gave me a number. (Although, I ended up getting a new one when my visa was assigned, but whatever rolleyes.gif )

I have a question..regarding the aos package to be sent..we would like to include 2013 2012 and 2011 of my husband income tax..regarding 2013, he cant get tax transcripts yet, what is our alternartive docu for 2013 to be used aside from tax transcripts? Any ideas?

It's either the tax transcripts or the ENTIRE tax return (1040, W2s, 1099s, schedules, worksheets, etc). Basically, everything that was sent to the IRS has to be sent to NVC.

How long before tax transcriots for 2013 be available to get online??

As soon as the IRS processes the return and issues the refund (if you get one). We got our 2013 refund on 2/14 and when I checked the following Monday, 2/17, 2013 was available. I'm sure it was available on that Friday, but I didn't check then (as I didn't, and still don't, need a tax transcript).

Thanks! smile.png

1. It doesn't matter if you send just the most recent tax information or all three years. Regardless, you need to fill out the question asking for previous years' incomes, so NVC will know how much you made. So, if you're worried about sending the previous years because the income wasn't as high, it doesn't matter, as that will already be reflected on the I-864 form. Honestly, if you have the tax information, I suggest sending it, to prevent any checklists (even though it's not required, there's some crazy officers at NVC that are checklist-crazy).

2. If she doesn't already have one, then it won't be assigned until the visa is printed. Put 'none' in the A-number box.

My AOS has been showing paid for 3 days now and no email from NVC. How long is usual?

What email are you waiting on? You could have sent the AOS package 3 days ago if that's how long the bill has been showing as PAID.

The same emails you said you received after paying your AOS. But I figured it out, you either print your receipt or email it to yourself and print it with the cover sheet as part of the receipt. Thanks!

I told her that the websites say PCC is required to be sent to NVC, she then tells me, "Sir, I am trying to help you, DO NOT send that to NVC, it will cause delays."

Anyone here ever hear of this?

I've been following your case closely and I can say that it's interesting the way you've been delayed. I know by the morning you should have your case number since those with similar time frame as yours already have theirs. Anyway good night
