Exactly. Only from issuing agency or authority can get those copies.

Hey Bellez,

We are almost on same pace. I just paid my AOS tonite.

Ours will probably take longer though. My wife is a Filipina who has been in Canada for 7 years as a PR. She is getting her Canadian Citizenship in 2 weeks and her Philippines passport will expire. So we have to wait another month for her Canadian passport to be issued after her oath ceremony. The IV document package states that a valid passport for at least 6 months must be submitted. and she said renewing her Philippines passport which expires March 22 would be too much hassle to renew as she is in middle of Saskatchewan. I think she is tired of the Philippines consulate in Canada. As if this process wasnt convoluted enough. Anyways good luck I guess the next step is to wait for the AOS to be shown as paid so we can electronic process the AOS.

All the best

Guys question.. is this ryt? DS-261 is the AOS and DS-260 is the IV? please enlighten me if this is ryt.. Also, i'm seeing other's timeline that they submitted their AOS package almost sametime when they pay their AOS. is that possible?

DS-261 is the choice of agent either the beneficiary, petitioner or an attorney can do it

AOS is for the petitioner

DS-260 & IV (immigrant visa) - beneficiary's civil docs & form

I think you can't send the AOS package right away after paying because you have to wait for the barcoded cover sheet and will be available if the status in the payment portal is PAID.

I have just now learned that my 129f from NVC was shipped yesterday to embassy for potential interview

but my 130 is just now received by NVC today, they said it can take a month to be in the system

What do I do ? Is it up to the embassy to decide ??

Thank you all for your input

Yes it's fine as long as it's already available in the payment portal. Try to preview the bar coded cover sheet if it's available already. No, the receipt with bar code is different.

Yes it's good but scanned or just a copy of the whole package is fine as long as the signed papers are there and if ever the consul wants to see it.

Yeah that's the bar coded cover sheet. That would be placed in the very first page of your package.
