Certainly, there are inexperienced IOs that are not well trained or are not completely familiar with the law. I had one of those myself during my first interview at Dallas, and it added months to my approval.

luoboy you said" I mainly based my abuse on the continuous infidelity, hospital reports and police reports by men she was having affairs with.." INFIDELITY IS NOT CONSIDERED ABUSE BY USCIS.I hope you proved mental abuse, because if your affidavit was mainly about infidelity they will not approve your case.

You said your friends are willing to write down affidavits, well you have to submit the affidavits , and not just mentioned to USCIS they are willing to help you.As I said before if her family and friends will give you an affidavit about her infidelity, then you will waste your time.

Thanks Sandra.Though I meant to say I did that the first time I applied with basic information but later after an Rfe is when I explained her involvement in the assaults and the mental abuse that has bothered me until my people in Africa heard me acting differently every time I spoke on phone. The affidavits about the mental abuse are actually from her friends and family. I have packed my life in two suitcases. A new start to my life. Look for a job again and get a new SSN. My wife ( still not divorced) messed my credit score. I read somewhere VAWA people can try and get a new credit score. It's been a long journey and now I can see some light on the other side of the tunnel. I want to thank you all on this thread.
