Hi everyone, so myself and my fiance have finished filling out the forms and are just about ready to send them out however in the address section for fiance it asks for a post code and in ireland they dont have any. Should this just be left blank? And can someone please tell me what is the actual cost of the i129f, i want to write out the check but I cant find anywhere that says what the actual amount is.

thanks in advance.

Thank you very much, completing these forms has been a bit daunting and this site and the people on it have been a great help. I dont see anything on the postcode on the link however. If i leave that blank will it be ok?

If you have already filed an I 130 you do not have to pay to file a 129f for a k3 visa for a spouse.

The K3 visa seems to be obsolete now, and if someone is filing a I-129F then they're filing a petition for an alien fiance, not a spouse. The I-130 is for spousal visas.

The K1 journey:                                                                                                                             The AOS journey:

11/09/2013 - I-129F Packet mailed to Dallas Lockbox                                                                                         06/22/2015 - AOS packet mailed to Chicago Lockbox

02/14/2014 - Case shipped to Embassy, where it waited for over a year at my request                                 11/07/2015 - AOS approved (EAD and AP had already been approved) - there was no interview

05/21/2015 - Interview - Approved

06/19/2015 - Wedding (L)

The ROC journey:

10/12/2017 - ROC packet mailed to VSC

01/21/2019 - ROC Approved - there was no interview

The N-400 journey:

02/16/2020 - N-400 application filed online

02/21/2020 - Paper NOA received in the mail

03/13/2020 - Biometrics

02/02/2021 - Interview & test - Approved

02/05/2021 - Oath Ceremony

Your wrong. I filed a 130 and a 129f for a k3 for a spouse. K1 visa is for a fiancé. The embassy in his country told us that filing a 129f could help expedite the process. Of course it did not help but I just got both petitions transferred and I just got a text today saying they changed the a # on the 129f. It does seem to be irrelevant but my point is you can still file a 129f for a spouse. (K3). Which if granted which it probably won't be would allow a spouse to come to the US to wait for the green card instead if waiting in their country for the GC.

Yes, you can also file an I-129F for a K-3, but this happens to be the K-1 forum and the OP is filing the I-129F as a fiance(e) visa petition. Therefore, stating to follow the instructions and that the fee is $340 makes perfect sense, since that is in fact the fee. There was no need to complicate the answer by stating someone using the I-129F form for a different purpose does not have to pay the fee. It just over-complicates the issue and can tend to confuse people. That particular info is best discussed in the K-3 forum.
