I know, but I really think things will start moving faster for everyone now after the holiday period. They will be wanting to get 2013 filers out of the way and start processing all the New Year/Xmas engagements!

I know it's hard, but chin up, we'll be with our partners in the US soon!

Yeah, just been having a rough time with the waiting lately. Seems like the Easter trip really isn't going to happen and we just miss each other so much. We haven't been together since I left the US in mid-July and it's so hard, the distance.

But let's definitely hope for a January NOA2 for all of us waiting. :)

I know((( it is very hard for us too. Diana and I were supposed to go to the Sochi games next month. Unfortunately we aren't going to go now due to my work getting super busy and the bombings in Volgograd invoked some fear about the safety.

We Skype almost every other day though, I bought her an iPhone and we facetime audio almost every chance we get as well as imessage the entire time we are both awake.

Just remember it isn't forever, just a short time really in the grand scheme of things. Use this time to strengthen our relationships and make it that much more special once we are together!

Sending happy thoughts and good energy your way! I honestly think that things will only continue to pick up with the holidays being over now. It is so difficult to be away from our loved ones but I just keep telling myself the things worth having in life are worth waiting for. It is a long and tedious process and I know I am thankful for forums like this where there are other people who understand what it's like. It makes me feel a little bit less alone in this whole thing. My friends and family have never experienced this so at least we have one another to vent to, chat with, and share experiences / knowledge with. biggrin.png

Hi guys and congratulations for the last approvals. Hope it will start to move faster for those still waiting on NOA2.

We are still waiting on packet 3 from the Paris embassy.

Those of you at the same steps, could you tell me what is going on for you ?

We got our NOA1 on Nov 22nd… and got our NOA2 last night.. it said on Jan 9, 2014 they sent our letter out saying APPROVED!! (I had the email status report thing set up, I haven't received my letter yet.)

This is quite fast compared to the timeline I got when I called the USCIS to change my address and ask about our status while I was talking to the officer.. He told me averaging 5 months right now.

My fiancee told me this morning (she hadn't seen my emails or apparently noticed my frantic Skype messages trying to get ahold of her from the night before.. right after we had logged off..) that her friend got her "P2" today and we submitted the same day. So I told her Oh.. did you check your email this morning yet baby? I sent you a picture, I think you'll like it. It was a screen shot of the USCIS page with the last circle lit up in blue! LOL.. She did indeed like her picture!
