Hello all.

I will be filing this month also. I dont have an eligibility day because ill be filing under 319(b) expedited naturalization because my husband is being stationed overseas in korea in march and we were able to get on his orders to go with him. We wont reach our 3 years until August but in this situation time as PR doesnt matter. We have all of our paper work about 90% done just need to review it all and make sure we have all the signatures and dates there. I hope everyone has a smooth experience and were all citizens by May ^_^. I really hope i can get it approved by february so i wont have to travel to korea alone after my husband..

For evidence, how much is everyone submitting? The same amount as the I751? With my I751 i sent copies of my passport visas, pr card military id marriage certificat, childrens birth certificates, life insurance proof, 2010 2011 2012 tax returns, vehicle registrations showing both our names, a years worht of bank statements, lease agreement, and utility bills showing joint. Is all that stuff necessary again? I sent the I751 back in may. Would they still have all that stuff or do i need to submit it all over again? What are you guys doing?

Guys, so I'm having a tiny freak out. We just got told on Thursday that we need to move out of our apartment because the building is being sold. So long story short, we are going to be moving while my N-400 has already been submitted. I started looking online and it seems I could go here and submit my change of address within 10 days of moving. I'm just so worried now.

Nothing to freak out about as you got it right. Just update your address on the link when its time.

I think you should still get your finger print details at the address though.

Hi I just had a question about the N-400 form...it asks if your spouse obtain citizenship by "birth" or "other"...and if you select "other" it asks the date your spouse obtain citizenship and the city and state...I was wondering exactly which date they require...the date the passport was issued? or we need to pull out the naturalization certificate for this...any help on this will be appreciated! Thank You!

Hi I just had a question about the N-400 form...it asks if your spouse obtain citizenship by "birth" or "other"...and if you select "other" it asks the date your spouse obtain citizenship and the city and state...I was wondering exactly which date they require...the date the passport was issued? or we need to pull out the naturalization certificate for this...any help on this will be appreciated! Thank You!

NVC Track:

Aug 26, 2013: NVC received file

Sept 05, 2013: NVC Case # and IIN assigned

Sept 09, 2013: DS-261 (Choice of Agent) completed online

Sept 10, 2013: Received AOS via email and paid ($88)

Sept 11, 2013: AOS ($88) shows paid on NVC

Sept 12, 2013: AOS Package sent to NVC, delivered (Sept 16, 2013) & AOS Package accepted (Oct 11, 2013)

Oct 07, 2013: Received IV Invoice and paid ($460), rejected and payment re-submitted (Oct 17, 2013)

Oct 16, 2013: IV Package sent to NVC & IV Package delivered (Oct 18, 2013)

Oct 21, 2013: IV fee shows paid on NVC, DS-260 completed online & IV Package in system for review

Oct 31, 2013: Embassy change request submitted & Embassy changed (Nov 6, 2013)

I have the same issue. It must be the day he took his oath, meaning the day he became a Naturalized Citizen. We had to get a copy of his Naturalization Certificate for this.

Hello friends I would want just to share an information with you. On Friday I was for a course of preparation for the citizenship and the instructor has us formless that from January first, 2014 the Form N-400 will have 10 pages more thus for those who will fill their appliquation from January will fill 20 pages instead of 10. And the 6 questions on 10 of civics than they ask us during the interview are drawn lots all the beginning of each month and are the same in every State. So it was an information which I wanted to share with you. Kiss
