I'll share my husband's F2B interview experience in 2011.

Full name and DOB of your petitioner?

How are you related to your petitioner?

How did your petitioner acquire LPR status?

When did your petitioner immigrate to the US?

Where does your petitioner live? Who are the persons he/she's living with?

What does the petitioner do for a living?

Do you have pictures of you and your petitioner together? (This is the part where you present the photos)

Thanks Apple21. Can you please tell me that

  • Whether the pics of me and petitioner only are enough or it should be with family including other members as well...
  • My petitioner keep visiting home country frequently for medical reasons and thats why she is still LPR and not US national. So what should i tell them if the petitioner is not in US currently?

You tell them the truth, of course. You can explain the situation. I assume your petitioner still considers the US as his domicile right?

My petitioner is not US citizen, i dont know what makes my petitioner 'US AS HIS DOMICILE'? It has been 8 years since my petitioner visiting US off and on adn maintaining GC. Sometime my petitioner took special permission of 2 years to stay in home country...

I mean your father still considers the US as his country of residence. He files US taxes? He has US bank accounts/credit/debit cards? He has a house/apartment in the US? He has a car and a valid US driver's license? Those sort of things...

Being a US citizen has nothing to do with it. I don't know why you keep saying that.

If she never filed taxes, she should write a letter explaining why she never did. She can say because she never worked (obviously).

The problem may arise because you refer that she VISITS the US. An LPR/GREEN CARD HOLDER must maintain residence/domicile in the US.

Yes she is mantaining her green card and while sending affidavit she mentioned that she is housewife with zero income. She has already submitted application that she has zero income and thats why she is using joint sponsor..thats done. I just have interview in november and want to know what should i say if they ask where is petitioner as petitioner is not in US and in home country for medical reason. Just want to know that will there be problem that even after 7 years the petitioner is still not US citizen and just maintaining GC.
