Speaking of Cars and Gas, since I moved down here 3 months ago, gas has gone down nearly a dollar.

It's pretty freaking awesome.

Gas in canada, however has not moved.

Sucks for them.

Ok ok, let me say that it seems to have gone down SLIGHTLY since our montreal interview.

That was INSANE. It literally peaked the DAY we left for montreal to like 1.32/litre >=\

I hate my PT cruiser.

I wanted to get rid of it after (1) year, but I think it was just too soon to not end up with an unmanageable roll-over loan so now I'm aiming for next summer.

Gas hasn't gone down here at all. It bounces back and forth between $3.88 - 4.05 for regular. My husband has the car 5-6 days a week to save on gas. Mind you, the walking is helping cut down on my back to America weight.

I wear yellow to work all the time.

Am I the only person who looks terrible in yellow and red? I have a mustard yellow dress that looks cute, though.

I can only really wear blue, green, black, and white especially now with the red hair.

We've got another Estate sale this weekend and our buyers still haven't signed a contract, but have fixed our septic. shocked.gif It is kind of hard to empty out the house and such without knowing when we are going to close, especially since I don't want to pay for a storage unit to hold the furniture I'm keeping if we are not closing soon.

Boatman should buy yellow shoelaces. Now that's a win !

hubby just FINALLY got his workers comp check... it was for 500 dollars.

For FOUR WEEKS.

Which is BS because he works 50 hours a week.

Even if I over estimate and say 40 hours a week, that would mean they are saying he makes $5.21 an hour!

I'm so pissed at these people and this guy purposely avoids my calls and doesn't call me back.

Ah, I si man... given that I don't have a detailed map of Ecu (is there even one? Rand McNally or somewhere?), tell me where it is in relation to GYQ or wherever. Sorry for the geo-illiteracy, man si. Can people identify his hometown by listening to his dialect, huh man?

In anywhere Amazonian or coastal, I would be sweating like a puerco and all the native would look at me curiously, as in "What's wrong with the gringo, huh man?"

In areas north of Quito and certainly in Cuenca, I'd be walking around very comfortably in a regular long-sleeved shirt while all the natives were bundled up like Eskimals (did I spell that right?). Poetic justice, huh man?

Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, man.

It's about four to six hours northwest of Guayaquil, depending on how you want to travel (bus, taxi, private car), and depending on time of day. I got quite used to the heat while I was there, but always enjoyed the nice climate in Quito. smile.png Never went to Cuenca, unfortunately, but I hear it's gorgeous!

how old of a Civic do you want? I'm very good friends with some execs at the DCH auto group.... (google them) Can get you into a Honda at a very honest deal, new and used. They're primarily in NJ.

I've been meaning to go car shopping. I turned in a car earlier this year, and I think the Yukon is about done.... But I dun wanna replace 2 cars in 1 year.....

I don't really have a specific year in mind, as long as it's in good shape and doesn't have a jillion miles on it. We do a lot of driving so I just want something reliable and not too expensive to service, which I was told Hondas were. content.gif I could be completely wrong, to be honest. I know diddly squat about cars.
