I have a feeling my case will be RFE too. I get extra checks with mine due to my husband living in El Salvador to study medicine for 12 years. Oh. And he is divorced from a salvadorean. So. Even though CSC is supposed to be fast I think my case will be SLOW.

I don't know what the point was to transfer to TSC if it takes same time as NBC....now TSC and NBC are about the same....6.5 months waiting period to get it approved.... other service centers are faster.... I'm just sitting here at work in front of computer checking website 24/7...lol... when did yours get transferred? mine was 3/10 or 3/12...cause they sent me 3 notifications which were about the same...

We got transferred on the 7th

Im wondering what will happen to those who were already sent to the service centers before transfers? Will we all be still waiting hummmm. Or should it go in order im a bit confused.

I have been wondering the same - whether us lot will be included in the randomness of current approvals among the transferees or if they will finish all transfers before looking at the cases directly sent to the service centres.

CONGRATULATIONS to those who already got an approval!

I hope to get the approval soon. I wonder if the case status is updated. It didn't show any notification that the petition was transferred but I remember few weeks after my husband sent the I-130 we got notification that it was transferred to TSC.

Should I ask my husband to call them? Do you have any no. we can call?

Another TSC update to report: Got an email saying my address was changed March 29th.

I'll try and take a look through the threads to see what I can find, but for those who have been paying attention, am I right that approvals can sometimes come in short time after such an email? I just don't remember TSC doing it that way, but I could be remembering incorrect. Please let me know if you know of other TSC cases that had this type of email, and what they seem to indicate. I'll also post back if I find anything. Thanks!

Crazy... just got back from out of town, gone since Tuesday am, still haven't received notice of where I was transferred to! So I was transferred on the 12th, approved on the 24th, and still haven't received hardcopy of any of it. Stupid postal service!!!!

I know, I know, there are lots of people who haven't been approved yet and this is totally "first world problems." But seriously, how long does it take to send a letter from the US to Canada?

I want to put new sheets into my pretty "immigration journey" binder!

Is your timeline updated?

That is odd. Usually standard mail takes a week to go from the UK to the US and vice versa. Surely Canada shouldn't take longer than that?

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

It's ridiculous. But sometimes standard mail just takes a couple days and sometimes it takes weeks. Really unpredictable. When we were sending out our wedding invites, hubby's grandmother thought we'd forgotten her because all the other invites that went to California (right down the coast from us in BC) arrived within 4 days and hers took 2 1/2 weeks. I think it's mostly on Canada Post's end, frankly. They have no idea how to run their business and are currently planning to stop home delivery in favour of big "super mail boxes" at the same time they're raising the postal rates by 100%. And they wonder why people are choosing couriers!

I wish there was an added fee we could pay to have everything shipped by fedex or dhl or somebody - I would definitely have paid it.

At least we should be able to do completely Electronic Processing at NVC stage.

I attended a Canada Post focus group last week. They're desperately trying to improve their services by listening to their customers now (Finally! Ha!). It may be too little, too late though.

I wish USCIS offered an expedited processing service. I'd pay for it as long as it was less than $1,000.

As far as I know, the Montreal Consulate (for Canadians) offers electronic processing at NVC so I'm so happy about it.

I would also pay more for processing fees if it went towards hiring new employees to process more cases/day and provide better service. I don't think anybody would care about increase in processing fees if it would decrease processing times.

No kidding! I think there'd be a lot of takers on an option to pay for faster/better service. New employees or a new computer system. I'm still completely dumbfounded that obviously they're still actually processing the paper files. EP at NVC is a great improvement, but wouldn't it be amazing if there were an EP option for USCIS (or even that we still send in paper, but then that paper is immediately all scanned in and doesn't need to be moved around in paper form. The existing staff would be able to be much more efficient if they could just hit "enter" after processing one file and the next one would just pop up on their screen. It would also presumably get them a lot closer to actually processing in order (FIFO) (... of course right now, that would mean that none of us October filers would have been approved yet.

If you can't move into the 21st century, USCIS, at least maybe move into the '90s?
