Any updates frm Vsc filers????? ( misharold & ameriturk)

Im just wondering whats going on at vermont .

Hi there..no nothing from them at all, my husband called them up when i was visiting him last week in the US and they say its within the timeframe it takes still. They are apparantley

still approving August 2013 filers :-( .

My reference number has EAC at the start of it, is this still Vermont? As the address at the bottom is the Vermont filing center. I hope we get word soon. My friend is an Aug 2013 filer and

he got approval at the end of Feb but his center was not Vermont.

Sadly an RFE for us. Received email now gotta wait for the letter to see what is missing. We know we forgot to include wife's passport photos. Hopefully it's just that.

On a positive note, someone is working on our case. And finally they are also looking at files sent directly to service centers.

Hopefully you will have some swift action. My application is with Vermont too and you are the first case from that center that I have seen since I joined here, my case went directly

to Vermont because it was after October 22 priority date Oct 23..we havent gotten approval yet, so I hope we get word soon. Good luck with this it shouldnt be much longer now :-)

The person one digit ahead of me got approved yesterday after an ARN change on March 18th. They are working through everything, slowly but surely.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

Any updates frm Vsc filers????? ( misharold & ameriturk)

Im just wondering whats going on at vermont .

I am at VSC too....still no word. My PD is 10/1....and I'm waiting 32 days after the transfer. So they have 28 days left!! I was thinking to try to put in a service request if I don't hear by next week (but not sure if they'll do it if it's within the 60 days after transfer).

Someone from my congressman's office called the VSC and she wrote me this last week ".....I have reached out the to the Vermont Service Center, and they have informed me they are currently processing immediate relative cases filed on or prior to August 30, 2013. It is hard to say exactly how long it will take for them to get to October 1, 2013 cases, but I will continue to do regular status checks with them to see when they get to your date. "

Maybe by now they are processing September case? And some people in October did already get an approval from VT. Who knows...sometimes it all seems so random. I can't wait to get to the NVC because it seems far more organized.

I do hope many of us will be approved today. I checked my status but nothing has happened. I dont know why USCIS treats people so unfair n makes us sad.

Same here, Still waiting... Please NSC...

From what I know, approvals from NSC are between 8 am and 9 am CST. In the September forum someone mentioned that they got an approval at 3 pm CST.

Any approvals from NSC this morning? :clock:

Yes, it seems like NSC sends out the approval emails twice a day now - early morning and mid afternoon.

Come on NSC! Drink a lot of coffee and Red Bull to process applications ASAP! The employees shouldn't be allowed to go home until they have finished processing all Oct applications!

My other half just spoke to the most unhelpful tier 2 and was told that it takes 12 months for i-130's, eventhough the website says 5months. According to this officer the numbers on the website means nothing as they aren't accurate and that I(we) should be prepared to wait another 7months.

She also stated that if you do a service request you DELAY your application because your appication gets pulled and then it has to go back in the "pile".

She also stated that they do not process in order because of "internal" reasons. However, she would not clarify what these internal reasons are.

So, I went from being excited that I would be approved soon'ish, to being rather unhappy.

I truly wish that these people get to experience what we have to go through. Maybe then they would treat us slightly better.
