What is the Visa Bullentin reading for a F2A with your priority date? That is what you need to be looking at.

And its taking 30 days (thats business days so maybe 4 to 6 weeks ) maybe shorter.

what happens if his passport is stuck in london embassy for visa renewal and he gets his us interview?

He can't have an interview without passport. So you would have to postpone if scheduled. But l;ooking at the timing it seems highly unlikely.November interviews have been annouced since the 1st. I don't know if F2A's have a different category slot like how they have for K1's. But then again you never know. Is your embassy a pretty busy one.?

I got my husband interview for mid november and I got a checklist about affidavit of support the day before interview date. I talked to my lawyer he's telling me to ignore the checklist, but i don't know what to do? I showed my income and my dads. MY mom and dad files their tax return together, but my dad's income is strong enough to sponsor my husband. but nvc still wants my moms I864 A files at the interview but my lawyer is telling me to ignore the checklist because my mom's income is not important in the process, i don't know what to do can anyone help me? what should I do?

Mine was also the same. NVC as completed my case, but they gave me a checklist on my second joint sponsor, and they told me to fix it and fill another 1864 form for my second joint sponsor and give it to my wife when she go for her interview. I called NVC to make them understand that am taking out my second joint sponsor, because my first joint sponsor income is enough to sponsor my wife and they agreed. Finally they told me to write a letter for wife to take along to her interview stating that I am taking out the second joint sponsor, because the first joint sponsor income is sufficient to sponsor my wife. I have already written the formal letter, is just to scan it to my wife.

The November interviews were already scheduled. Those who were scheduled for November got interview letters on the FIRST WEEK OF OCTOBER.

What you're aiming for is the December interviews.

I was in London and had to extend my visa twice. You have 90 days even after your visa expires to apply for a new one, so he has till end of February to apply for his visa in London. He needs to apply within 90 days after the visa has expired. If he doesn't want he can just come back to Bangladesh or go to USA after getting the visa he doesn't need to answer anything to UKBA as he is leaving the country willingly.

My last UK visa expired on 31st of July, 2012. I applied for extension 23rd of August,2012 (around 1 month after the visa had expired) than I had to withdraw my application and come to Bangladesh on October,2012 and I had no problem as I was leaving UK willingly and no one stopped me not even for a single question. So, don't worry, he is not breaking any laws if UKBA asks him he can simply show them that he is waiting for his passport to be returned from US embassy.

The problem will arise if he doesn't get the approval. Than he needs to ask for his passport from US embassy and apply for UK visa and after that return it to US embassy again and wait for US visa.

I hope this doesn't sound confusing to you, hope this information helps,in sha allah everything will pan out nicely for you, Thanks good.gif
