Hello everyone! I just wanted to give you all my status update. I woke up this morning, checked my email, screamed to my husband to wake up and told him that the USCIS sent us an email saying that WE GOT APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!! We couldn't be more happy!!!!! We are over the moon!!!!!!! It has been exactly 8 months since we mailed in our petition; March 6th filer. So, we just wanted to share the good news with everyone and we hope everyone else gets approved soon as well!! Good luck to all! We will keep you posted!

I have been to the US embassy before to get something notarized. It went really well. :)

Of course we do Thanksgiving!! It's by far my favorite holiday. We usually do normal tico dinner with the family, and I make apple and pumpkin pie. It's so hard to get turkey down here, and I don't mind eating ayote soup and picadillo for dinner. Yummy!

And I hope I have an approval soon. I hope we *all* have approvals soon! It's been TOO LONG.

Thank you! and yes, I am living with my husband in Belgium. We are so happy to be approved before the holidays, but we know we will still have to wait a little while to be back. Hopefully by the beginning of the year!

Thank you! I hope you get aprroved soon too! And we never got anything about our case being transferred so I'm not really sure about that...
