Our NOA2 was approved July 31, 2013 and got it in the mail, however I have had no updates that it has been forwarded to NVC and call every few days which they state they haven't received. I have looked at other timelines that show a much quicker response, what is going on?

NVC just recieved our case today and we got our NOA2 on July 26. Just wait a couple more days. It should be received soon.

3/8/2013 -I-129f sent

3/15/2013- NOA1 received

7/12/2013 - RFE text notifications

7/15/2013 - RFE hard copy received

7/19/2013 - RFE sent

7/24/2013 - RFE received by USCIS

7/31/2013 - NOA2 approved

8/5/2013 - NOA2 hard copy received

8/16/2013 - NVC received

8-21-2013 - case number received

8-23-2013 - sent to the embassy

8-27-2013 - Embassy received

9-28-2013 - Packet 3 received in the state by petitioner(my husband now)

10-7-2013 - medical exam done

10-23-2013 - packet 3 sent out

10-29-2013 - packet 4 received

11-21-2013 - interview date(approved)

1-23-2014 - passport received

1-24-2014 - fl LAuderdale intl airport

3-14-2014 - Married

6-17-2014 - AOS / EAD sent out

7-21-2014 - Biometrics appointment

9-4-2014 - EAD approved

9-8-2014 - EAD card received in mail yeahhhhhh / received mail with second biometrics appointment

9-12-2014 - Biometrics done for the 2nd time

9-28-2014 - Interview waiver letter received in mail

4-24-2015 - email received ( residence card in production ) yayyyyy thanks God!!!!!

Doesn't it take 4 weeks for the case to be transfered?

NVC just recieved our case today and we got our NOA2 on July 26. Just wait a couple more days. It should be received soon.

Hang in there,they should send it soon.My NOA2 is July 26 and NVC got my case on August 12&on August 13 they send to my Consulate.So they'll move fast once gets to NVC;)

Our case was approved on July 25 and it still hasn't been forwarded to NVC. I called and asked to speak to a tier 2 rep- she was able to tell me that my case was in a crate to be shipped out. Who knows how long it will sit in the crate for. I'm just glad it's not lost. And as other posters have said, it seems to move pretty fast once it actually gets to the NVC.

  • 04/24/2013 - I-129F Sent
  • 04/29/2013 - NOA1 Touched
  • 05/02/2013 - Left to visit my baby for the 3rd time!
  • 05/03/2013 - NOA1 Hardcopy received
  • 06/04/2013 - Flight back to the U.S.
  • 07/29/2013 - NOA2 (approval text) received (only 87 days since NOA1 Notice Date)
  • 08/02/2013 - NOA2 Hardcopy received
  • 08/14/2013 - Mailed all necessary post-NOA2 docs to sweetheart in preparation for her medical/interview!
  • 08/19/2013 - Manila Case # given by NVC (exactly 3 wks since NOA2)
  • 08/26/2013 - Manila Case # Hardcopy received, perfect timing for...

You guys are all lucky, i got my NOA2 last June 19 2013 but NVC didt have my case yet. When my husband last talked to NVC they said to patiently wait for another 2 to 3 weeks.

Not true anymore because It's more like ONE MONTH (sometime more) wait now to get a case number, be in the system, and have the case file move from the USCIS stage to NVC stage before they would make contact with you.

It will happen, just be patient and keep calling if you just want reassurance. I sure did the same thing myself! Good luck! :)

Mar 19, 2013: I-129F Packet Rec'd by USCIS

Mar 21, 2013: NOA1

Mar 28, 2013: Alien Number Changed/Assigned

Jul 10, 2013: Case Transferred from Vermont to Texas Service Center (Text 7/10 - E-mail 7/10)

Jul 13, 2013: Transfer Hard Copy

RFE: "NONE" Thank you Lord.

July 25, 2013: Petition Approved (Text 7/25 ~ Email 7/25)

Aug 01, 2013: NOA2 Hard Copy

Aug 15, 2013: Sent to NVC (Text 8/16 ~ Email 8/16)

Aug 22, 2013: NVC Rec'd and Case Number Assigned Same Day

Aug 26, 2013: "In Transit" Status DOS Site ~ Sent Electronically

Aug 27, 2013: "Ready" Status on DOS site (Rec'd by Consulate) Waiting for Interview Date to be scheduled!

September 3, 2013: Interview Date Assigned "12/10/2013"
