Let me guess, You applied with CSC? Congratulations Misuzu!

At the pace that CSC is approving applications, I would not be surprised if someone here gets approved even before they apply for K1 :)

Hello everyone,

I hope things are going well for all of you! I am so excited, but confused?

I sent our application on August 7th. I received the NOA1 email/text in one week, the NOA1 hardcopy in two weeks. I received the NOA2 approval email/text on September 5th and the NOA2 approval hardcopy on September 9th.

I am stunned and amazed. I had to read the text/email 50 times to believe it. I have read the hardcopy 50 times to believe it!!!! I can only hope that all of you will be as fortunate as we have been. I'll keep you posted Chris

Congrats!

Wow, August filers are getting approvals one after the other. All of us who are still waiting are all hoping to get our own great news very soon. Wouldn't it be too cool if all August filers get approved by the end of September? Wishful thinking but hey! It's my birthday soon so it won't hurt to wish for the best!

To all those who have gotten their NOA2 approval, I wish that the rest of the process would be as smooth! Cheers!!!

Thank you! I actually want to give it 3-4 days in between checking our case status but I dont want to put myself through that torture. So, I will stalk the case as much as I want to!

Congratulations Chris & Vanina! A within 26 days approval for someone who applied at TSC instead of CSC :) That gives me hope! :)

Hi August filler here, filed at TSC,

Sent our petition on 8/4/13 check

got NOA1 on 8/11 got another NOA on 9/10/13 with Initial review status, due to name change on the partition since the very first NOA had misspelled our names on it. I had to call on 8/21/13 and request for a change. So as of today our case is still at Initial Review status... Patiently waiting for our NOA2

Good Luck to All...

hello guys

like a week ago USCIS said on their web site that the beneficiary has to take 3 different forms at his/her interview:

DS 156

DS 156K

DS 230

i just checked their site again and they have cancelled DS 230, its not there any more.

so we need to fill out just DS 156 and DS 156K?

thanks much

I read about this on another post. It appears that the DS 230 is no longer required for the K-1 visa but some embassies are still requesting it. I'd recommend that you look at your packet 3 instructions for further guidance and comply with whatever the embassy requests.
