So my VJ timeline says: Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between September 25, 2013 andOctober 6, 2013*. So now what do we do? Call or say?

Now you just wait. The VJ timeline is just an estimate, you will get your NOA2 hopefully sooner, or later..

Well Jadey I'm with you and starting to get things in order. That way when the embassy wants papers we are ready to go. We have also stared at the NOA1 too many times!

Yessss!!!!! Filed my I-129f on Aug 26, got a NOA1 receipt date from CSC on Sept 5 and I just checked my case status online today and it says that our case was approved and mailed yesterday Oct 3! God is so good...

Wow! Hopefully I'm right behind you. I filed and have the same date from CSC on Sept 5. Still awaiting NOA 2 smile.png

I wouldn't put a lot of faith in the date you get from VJ. I think that is just an average of people with similar timelines on this site. I suppose it never hurts to call. Best of luck to you chucky71.

Green Card: AOS sent Feb 2014; Approved Jan 2015.

Removal of Conditions: I-751 sent Nov 2016; Approved Apr 2018.

US Citizenship: Application sent Nov 2017; Fingerprints Nov 2017; Civics/English exam March 2018; Oath May 2018.

I know what you mean John & Britt. California is going so much faster. My noa1 was given to us on the same week as yours and still no noa2 from TSC. Hopefully soon we will get ours

Yes, that's true, but even though we got fast aprovals we have to wait for ours case numbers for more than 40 days. Which is also frustrating, cause as all we know the proces to NVC should be fast.

We received this today in email :Omg this means we will have our case number soon .

Yes but prior to my text and email 3 hours ago our case was under initial review...we never received an approval.

Congrats!! Wish CSC would send out the same notices for us. Instead we're all just sitting, wondering if it'll ever get shipped to NVC.

Sept 24 2016 - resent packet (1st attempt arrived 2 days too early due to miscalculation of 90 days)




AOS Timeline


8/9/14- Mailed I-485/131/765 (took a long time to get our Marriage Certificate)


8/15/14- notified via text and email that application was accepted on 8/12 and being processed.


9/8/14- Biometric done; 11/5/14- EAD/I-131 Approved/Card Production


11/5/14- AOS moved to testing/interview; 11/13/14- EAD/AP Combo card REC'D


12/16/14- AOS Interview- APPROVED! 1/3/15- Green card approved.

02/04/2014 After many months of waiting and frustration, FI finally got his birth certificate, passport and police clearance from his home country and we received an SMS today stating that his SA Police Clearance was finalized.


02/18/14 Police Clearance rec'd


2/20/14- Second packet 3 sent to consulate


2/27/14 Followed up with Consulate to get interview date. They schedule an interview for 2/20 when he submitted the application of readiness (what we had to do to extend his NOA2) on 1/21, but they didn't notify us of that appointment, so we missed it.


3/27/14- Interview- APPROVED!!!


4/10/14- FI entered US via LAX and flew to SF 6/14/14- Civil Ceremony
