Yahoo has overhauled their mail/messenger interface twice the past year, much to my chagrin. We used to be able to get a listing of the dates and times, with clickable samples of each in the same window - perfect for screenshots. Now the samples can no longer be displayed alongside this list. What's more, there is no way to scroll through the entire history of message body text on a single screen like you can with Skype and Facebook. You have to click on each date or time to view the body of that date/time. It's a major turnoff for those trying to gather evidence through Yahoo.

You might want to use print screen. smile.png

Print screen copies a picture of your screen (snapshot) to your clipboard.

Once you hit the print screen button (unless you have a program like greenshot or puush.me installed) you'll have to paste the clipboard results into paint, or word, or some other native program on your PC in order for it to be printable. :)

Best chance it to print directly from the page, if it's chat logs for YAHOO! or any other chat program that won't allow you to download the logs directly, to get an archive reader.

Same here, locate the cursor at the beginning, hold down the shift key and click the left mouse button at the end, entire email turns black. hit control C that copies the entire email, with Word opened, cllick on that in your task bar, then hit control V making sure the cursor is at the correct position. Can hit select all under edit, and choose a smaller font, can also print out double sided.

If you do this as you go along, not as bad as doing this all at once.

At our AOS interview, learned that this was not the end of it, still had that I-751 and N-400 to go through. When I got home, downloaded those forms and read the instructions to learn for the next three years would have to keep records and evidence. So that was done a little at a time. If moving, getting a new job, taking an out of country trip, was done at that time.

Shocking at the number of people that wait to the last minute and can't remember all that stuff, what do I do?

Also got a scanner to scan all that evidence, and knowing a bit about computers, purchased extra hard drives for my computers, and refused to save that data in Drive C like MS wants you to do. Also have three other computers on my LAN to back up that data, but one that is off line, so would back up those files on a burnt CD. At the end of it, my immigration directory is 191 MB long with compressed data. That is a lot of information!

Then when it was all over, had to see my therapist, because I was severely brainwashed as this was going on for a total of six years, both my wife and stepdaughter. In that, I didn't have to do this anymore. Also typed out sheets for due dates I hung on my refrigerator door. Nice seeing an empty door again.

I'm a geek myself. I scan & store all the evidence on a joint Google drive account so my fiance and I both have access to it from anywhere to save/print it out. It's already been super helpful. :)

I also invested in Adobe Acrobat Pro that automatically resizes the fonts for those long Spanish addresses to save adding a separate sheet of paper. After the AOS stage, quickly learned the USCIS is asking for the same information over and over again. That became a copy and paste operation.

And its the same thing with evidence, my own divorce papers are 51 pages long double sided. So scanning that to a *.pdf file could print out 51 pages odd side first, flip over the stack, then the even pages in exact sequence. Cheated a bit with my wife's evidence, her country still using legal size, shrunk those to standard letter size, still very clear and legible.

Every bit of mail from the USCIS was also scanned and saved. Used a cheap color ink jet printer for colored documents. They tell you to make copies of those in case you need them. And you do need them for future evidence.

Its no wonder why my wife commented when she first saw her file, was over 3 1/2" thick. Also when sending in an application, made two identical copies because the USCIS is noted for loosing stuff. Sure would hate to start that over from scratch.

Want a good laugh, read the "Paper Reduction Act", at the end of each instruction booklet.

Hah! I'll keep that in mind. They said for the interview and the like, there should be no issues as long as all the documents are in English or Spanish for Argentina. My fiance is fluent in both, so if push comes to shove we can have them translated. My Spanish is laughable at best. :c

I have Acrobat Pro at work, so I can always resize and whatnot here if I come in early or head out late. :)

We had to translate all the documents from Spanish to English for both my wife and stepdaughter. That never really made sense to me, because if you call the USCIS, they have both an English and a Spanish line. Today, you can't even buy a candy bar that is labeled both in English and Spanish.

We must share something in common, while considered a genius in my work, the size of my brain for learning different languages is about a microgram.

Key reason why I purchased Acrobat Pro is while Reader was a free download, you could open a form, type, and print it out, you couldn't save it. I complained to my Senator Feingold on this issue as all government forms were using the Acrobat format. For once, something was done, so with the later versions of Reader, you could finally save your work. Not sure if my discussion changed that or not. Then every year, Adobe was changing their program just even so you couldn't even open the newest documents the government was constantly upgrading. And Adobe wanted around 200 bucks for an update. Same darn program, but could no longer open these same old forms.

But at least the latest versions of Pro, will open your older forms. With Pro, when creating a new *.pdf document, you have the option to save it using the older formats. So why isn't the government doing that? Must be getting a kickback from Adobe.

Then while most of these forms have not changed in the last over ten years, they change just the date at the lower left corner that you need a magnifying glass to read USCIS wants you to download the latest from or could be rejected.

If all this isn't bad enough, in the newly formed Homeland Security created by Bush killing the INS and forming the USCIS, Bush put Emilio Gonzales in charge of the USCIS, A Cuban refugee with very limited English language skills. He changed all the old INS forms that were written in perfect comprehensible English. His forms are brain twisters. And with one small error on your form, USCIS reserved to deny your form and keep your fee. Since my first check was well over 3,000 bucks, elected to hire a top immigration Attorney to review my forms. Sure enough, I made a couple of errors.

Also didn't care for that threat of a $250,000 fine and five years in prison for any misrepresentation. I know exactly where Emilio got that phrase from, off of any DVD, in particular with a Sony name on it.

Never recall any damages we charged Japan for the the problems they caused us, they did take two of my favorite uncles I would like back. But yet our FBI is protecting them. We use to have a law where no foreign country can own any of our communications industries.

Another thing I didn't like, Emilio was handing out free green cards to Cubans coming here on rafts from Cuba. Suggested that to my wife to ease the immigration process. Just trailer my boat down to Miami and put her and her daughter on a raft about six miles offshore. Could be nearby and call the Coast guard to pick them up, so they would be safe. She took me seriously, we ended up doing it the hard expensive way that only took us 13 months and a whole bunch of cash. Nondeductiblecash at that.

And what is this jazz on our Statue of Liberty, bring me your poor? First thing I had to prove to the USCIS, I had plenty of cash to pay their fees and support them well above the poverty rates. Then to prove to them, we had a very happy marriage because we were paying income taxes together. Ha, being in love is not having to say you are sorry. Its paying income taxes together.

Hah!

Welcome to America, land of the buy one get one free.

This country was founded on immigrants, and sought to provide a brighter future to people who sought to work hard for it. It's sad what we've become.

I feel like I'm being punished for falling in love with someone outside the country. Like I have to pay a fine because I'm not marrying within my country.

Languages I do better with if I'm immersed in it, I took Spanish classes years ago and I did pretty well with it when I was using it regularly. But then I didn't use it and lost it. xD I do the same with programming languages, so I guess it's not that unusual for me. =X
