Well my computer crashed, yes I backed up almost everything. The problem is no emails were backed up. I did take the computer to a local computer repair and he could not retrieve any emails.

We were married on June 7th 2013 in Finland. My wife is currently on vacation with me in the US and her computer is in Finland. We were wanting to send the I-130 in this week. I do have pictures of us together from the last year, the Skype logs, VIber messages, joint bank accounts, we just put the property in both our names and boarding passes for our flights. Would that be enough to include? Should I explain why no emails are included?

It sounds like you have tons of great evidence (boarding passes are brilliant as is your joint property and bank account).

Don't stress over the emails - not everyone uses them for that much personal communication, anyway. You don't need to explain their absence.

Why would your computer crashing effect your email. Your email is housed on the server proxy of your provider, i.e., hotmail, yahoo, gmail. Just log onto another computer and print the log of emails. Not really necessary to show them substance just that you communicate but looks like you have that covered with the rest of the stuff.

IMAP and POP both allow local download and deletion from remote server. Guess that's what he was doing. Oops! This is why I route all my mail through a gmail account.

Some people use ISP email addresses too and don't keep them.

however does your spouse have a copy of the emails??

We didn't send any in, kept them in reserve for an RFE if needed.

My wife has them on her computer but it's in Finland. I use embarqmail and outlook for my email. All are gone from the server. I will not worry about sending them in now. Will save them if we get a RFE.
