I finally received my greencard today and guess what?My first name is incomplete!Instead of putting Mary Rose they only put Mary R on it.Is this normal?Everything from the letter and at the back of the greencard shows my complete name even my middle name but not the front.I may need to return it and file i-90 but any other suggestions or members here that have gone through this predicament? Thanks a lot

Hi people

My POE date is 08/26/2014, and i paid the ELIS fee since 20 MAY. Here my story: I asked my cousin to help me creating ELIS ACCOUNT and he didn't complete both physical and mailing address for me, and also gender and country of citizenship are both blank.

And now i log in and check and it says your case is accepted and pending for review, so i want to know that if i need to complete all information on that website or what? Because when i try to select gender and country of citizenship it requires evidences to be scan and uploaded for review.

I am minor child of LPR(F2A visa)

SSA is the Social Security Administration. If you haven't received a social security number yet, then yes, you should go in person to a social security office to apply for one.

Congratulations - it will be perfect!!!

My ELIS update says 'çard produced' so not sure the timeline but expect it soon. How did you track you card? Did they email you the courier service? How long from Card Produced to ship?

Be happy - when the card comes it will be a momentous day for you and yours...

We spent 5 days in production before it was shipped. 5-6 days seems pretty typical based on recent timelines posted here. My USCIS status updated twice: once to say USCIS mailed the card, and again to say USPS reported picking up the mail. With that second update we got a shipment tracking number, for which I promptly added text notifications on the USPS website :) They mail it 2 day priority with insurance, so it won't take long to get to you once it's in the mail.

Thanks! I'm pretty anxious to see what the card says... we had CBP remove his middle names from the system entirely, so it should just read Firstname Lastname. Anything else and we're back in disaster recovery mode :P
