I hope you are right my friend .... My last call the rep said wait until next Tuesday ... Remember there is a national holiday in the USA in the 4 th so this will day things

I believe that the first two weeks of TSC approvals are sitting on the first floor at NVC all together...no case numbers issued yet...but I think this will change soon...Dustin your file was approved first, but was held until a large batch was sent out...By the end of next week I will find out if I am right...;)

I hope you are right. But I wonder why they have no record of my case, but they are able to tell them it's on the 1st floor?

Only NVC since I call after work. But I'll try DOS tomorrow. My office closes early so I'll be making phone calls after lunch to DOS and USCIS to see if I can find anything out. I also made an info pass appointment but the earliest date was July 10. I really hope I have case numb before then and can cancel it. Fun, fun, fun. Reminds me of the stress I went though when our case was transferred to TSC (at the time transferred to unknown).

I'll just keep calling until they give me number haha

I agree it feels like that transfer all over again. lol I guess all we can do is help each other by blowing up those phones & putting pressure on them. I just called too and that new 8 weeks news just started this week... all last week they were telling me 15 business days... :/ at this point I rather my case be in TSC then NRC in some storage place really. Just hoping for the best for all of us! Keep us posted. I will call DOS tmrw too & USCIS but last week when I called tier too said all she knows is that they are sent off in batches...

I called the nvc and they told me more than likely next Tuesday my case should be there and assigned .. Next Tuesday would be the 15 business days mark

I emailed my senators office yesterday ... I think with July fourth this week .... It's will slow it down more ;(

Finally someone is getting a good news! I got approval on June 12, 2013, 22 days or so and no case #. You are giving me HOPE!

Did you ask your senator to look into it? I did last week, but still nothing from them.

Because they probably just send 1 or 2 weeks of approvals in batches to NVC and CSC or VSC each day..

Because they probably just send 1 or 2 weeks of approvals in batches to NVC and CSC or VSC each day..

I was thinking that they might need a minimum number of petitions ready before they could ship them. I know they don't ship through standard post like USPS, UPS or fedex, so if they are using a secure courier, it may be that they need so many boxes fillled to make it cost effective to ship to NVC.

Another thing that crossed my mind is that CSC and VSC have been doing these I-129F petitions for quite a while now,and TSC just started doing them, so it might be a little longer getting a route set up with whatever courier they are using.

If these are the case, or it's a case of getting a few weeks worth in, I'd hope they would get on a more regular schedule once they get the first batch sent off. Hopefully for everyone's sake, they are packed and at the courier and on their way to the NVC as we type these messages.

Good luck to all those currently waiting still for their NVC numbers, I really hope they start coming very soon.

What's the world coming to when government bureaucrats do their job this quickly??

We received NOA2 on 6/26. I called NVC today 7/3. I was on hold for about twenty minutes when a lady suddenly came on. I hadn't realized I'd accidentally hit mute on my phone and couldn't figure out why she kept repeating "Hello?" She did NOT hang up. She stayed on the line and repeated that she could not hear me.

Finally I got off mute and gave her the case number, which was the very first thing she'd asked for. As soon as she input it, she said, "We received your case today and a case number should be assigned in 10 to 20 days," at which time, she said, I would be notified or sent something or other, I forgot. I asked if I could also call back to inquire about the case number, and of course she said yes.

She was curt but polite and helpful.

Also, from other comments around here, "ten to twenty days" seems to be their standard response, but people usually get their case number fast. I will call back again Monday.

Now I have a question:

WHAT am I supposed to now? There's so much information around here, I don't know where to start. People talking about shortcuts, downloading forms, etc. I've collected new "evidence" of our ongoing relationship (chat logs, pictures, plane tickets etc. from our trip to Beijing in May), should I be compiling all this and snail mailing it to her?

Thanks for any pointers.
