Guys!! Hoe is everybody doing?

Im back at vj world after a couple days of disconection just for relax and take a lil bit of stress off my shoulders...

Weve got approved on thursday 27 (noa2) and now what?

Im readin here that i should be calling?

Is it too soon?

Ive read somebody said that texas people will have to wait longwr??

Can anybody help me?

Thank you!!!

Hi there- I think just being approved on Thursday is probably a bit early but I have seen people get approvals a few days after...it's just that for the people transferred to TSC, there haven't been any numbers assigned yet that I know of so it may take a bit longer...that's what we're all trying to gauge now. :)

Our congressman's office said they have forwarded our concerns onto the congressional liaison at TSC regarding waiting 100 years for our cases to reach the NVC.

Great news - thanks Queen - maybe that will get a fire started smile.png

Hi ..what's DOS number to call ..!! Thanks.

Sure - the DOS number is 202-663-1225, hit 1, then 0. If you want to try NVC another day, I think the number is 603-334-0700. good luck smile.png

Do u need to be the USA fiancee to call?

Thank u guys!!

I don't believe so. When I called they just asked me for the USCIS case number, then the beneficiary full name and date of birth and the petitioner full name and date of birth and once they confirmed those two pieces of information the operator was more than happy to discuss it with me. She even went so far as to ask without prompting from me, for the beneficiary email to insure it was on file for updates.

I think we just have to disregard this message about 8 weeks.. and as it was mentioned before, they say UP TO 8 weeks.

I just got off the phone with NVC operator and he said it usually takes about 15 days and he also said just try us now and then. He said give us a call next week, Monday, Tuesday.. I asked if I can call Friday? He said they will be closed only for 4th of July and open on Friday. So call!

Call them once in 3 days! Email is useless.. they do not respond immediately, it takes them about 2 weeks to respond on email.

And last time I spoke with NVC, they told me that my case is in their building on first floor, but not processed yet.

My NOA2 is July 21st.

Just had my infopass appointment. Our case was sent to NRC and not NVC.

Did they give you any more info than that? Are they going to send it to the embassy? You've been waiting an awfully long time so I hope they gave you something better than that!
