What to Wear to Interview?

Now that all my papers and documents are assembled, my only worries are that of my wardrobe.

What do you wear to the interview? Is it just casual dress like stuff you'd usually wear, or should you dress as if you're going to a job interview?
I've heard different things and can't figure out if there even IS a set way to dress for this...

I wore a T shirt and jeans with a black hoodie. There was 1 person during my interview day that had on a suit, but maybe it's embassy specific.

Wear something comfortable yet tidy, and you should be fine. I wore grey pants and a warm Norwegian pullover to my interview (as it was in November). I saw a lot of people who were just wearing jeans and comfy shirts.

There is no dress code what so ever for London. The interview is not judged on the way you dress, but the evidence before them. So as long as you have all of that together then you will be fine.

When I went for my interview I wore jeans and a short sleeved shirt, smart casual.

My husband wore a suit. No playing around in the hard embassies! (but he chose this himself, not on any guidance)

That's what somebody else said when I posted it in the London K1 help thread. They said they were going to be real disappointed if they didn't hear that music in the embassy. Anyway, now you've had a tour of how it goes, so less of the unknown to intimidate you.
