AOS Paid!

I didn't expect this will be today, as payment portal just today started showing me I can't access it, but just now it changed to allow it (I've been checking it like every hour)

Also received two emails:

Dear Principal Applicant:
The immigrant visa petition recently filed on your behalf is now eligible for further processing at the National Visa Center (NVC).
...
establish communication with the NVC by registering an agent and your agent's contact information with the NVC.
AND
Dear <petitioner>:
The immigrant visa petition filed on behalf of <beneficiary> has become eligible for further processing at the National Visa Center (NVC).
...
you must pay the Affidavit of Support (AOS) processing fee ($88.00 USD).
Both emails arrived at both email addresses.
Are any of these 3032 acceptance emails?

most deffinetly :) i got the same emails...than the IV bill vas invoiced to the agent of choice. 2 days later thay emaild that thay also recieved the principal applicant's ds 3032. so you're good!

Thank you!
I wasn't so sure because both of these emails included a bar-coded copy of 3032, and the one addressed to the applicant said they should now register an agent, and the email to the petitioner didn't say anything about agent being registered. I think these emails are just to say the case is in the system and is ready for further processing.
OK, so you are saying that some time after these emails you got the IV bill, and THEN you got the email that they received 3032 (which I though the acceptance email)?
How long before receiving these emails did you email the 3032? And how long after emailing did you receive the 3032 acceptance email?

You MAILED the DS-3032 to NVC? blink.png Why didn't you just email it? It's free and NVC gets it instantly.

In the email containing the form, it said to mail the hard copy to the NVC at xxx address. Should I have him just email it as well?

I love a guy who looks like he could be on Criminal Minds as either an agent or a killer.

I just sent out the corrected I864EZ, does anyone know when it will be reviewed? Do I have to wait for another 20 days?

Around the same amount of time as the original AOS package.

Saylin,

Yes, I called this morning. They said it was approved at the Los Angeles Field office (the last I heard it was at the Santa Ana field office - not sure why it got transferred, but apparently it got transferred on May 23rd. Approval was May 31st). They said they didn't know if it has been mailed out and submitted a service request... They couldn't tell me when I would get a response to the service request.

Anything else I can do?

Thank YOU!

You need to keep on USCIS until you've confirmed with a minimum of 5 operators that the case has indeed been sent out. Be vigilant.

In the email containing the form, it said to mail the hard copy to the NVC at xxx address. Should I have him just email it as well?

If you read post 1 and 2, you would have known you could email it instead. Most VJ members do this. At this point, it'd be pointless to email it as you've already mailed it.

Thank you so much! Everyone in this Forum are so sweet and helpful!!!!!!!

I called NVC again, and found out the problem. I should only use W-2 income as total income, but not the gross income which includes other business income!

Hope this will help other people fill out I864EZ in the future!

that's weird -

i understand the i-864EZ basis of usage to be

only if the petitioner has w-2 income.

business income denotes 'non-w-2 income' usually.

so, the basis of using the I-864EZ doesn't match, in your particular instance.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

I have a question.

Does it matter in what order you write beneficiary's and petitioner's name on cover letters and or DS3032 email

Some letters show this format on VJ templates " <LAST FIRST MI> other say <full name> with out stating in what order. I want to know does it matter if we write (First middle last)order or (last first mi) order?

Thanks

I dont think it matters. If using " <LAST FIRST MI> format, I will seperate last name from the rest of the names with a comma (,) i.e. <Last Name, First Name MI>.

Our AOS bill was invoiced on June 11, 2013 (Tue) . We paid on June 12, 2013 (Wed) and that showed PAID on June 19, 2013 (Wed). We emailed our AOS documents on June 21, 2013 (Fri) morning. How long should I wait to get IV bill invoiced? Thank you.

The IV bill will only get invoiced once the DS-261 has been submitted online and NVC receives it and adds it to your case file. When did you complete the DS-261?

We submitte DS-261 on June 12, 2013 (wed), the same day that we paid our AOS bill. We received the optin email from NVC on JUne 21, 2013 (Fri) and mentioned that they received our AOS fee + DS-261. The communication will be to the agent that we provided. Thank you so much, Saylin.

You sent it to supervisor, not superuser, right? Just checking. Not sure how these emails get filtered to get viewed sooner, but they probably have a filter for that word.

I plan to send supervisor email if my 3032 is not approved in two weeks, as the guide suggests. It looks like you sent yours 6-7 days after sending the first 3032. I don't know if that matters, but maybe even the supervisor ignores the emails if they are sent too early.

I'd suggest you sent another one on the 26th.
