Give him some space to think, "if you love something, set it free..." Allow him time to think. It could be cold feet. Men are different to women and reality may be settling in. He might only be realizing what a big deal marriage is.

Or, maybe he found somebody else, either in the US or in another country, and just used the "tired of waiting" excuse in order to let her down more gently. The reason I think this is because it's the only thing that makes the most sense for him to end this so suddenly on the verge of major movement in their application.

I hate to sound negative about this, but he's only human.

I was denied! Yes, I am! My fiancee denied me before even our papers gets approved.

He get tired of waiting and decided to stop our journey sad.gif and whats more painful is that i tried checking our case no. status today..

just to find out that they sent us already RFE mail a couple of days ago...and he didnt even tell me..guess its really over for him.

But still im keeping my faith that somehow miracle does exist for i really love him.

Thank you for this site.so inspiring! Keep it up guys! And Salute to those who conquered the journey!

Not easy till this stage, he must have his reason and don't give him stress from now.

I will keep you in my prayer... Think positive, have faith! rose.gif

"Tired of waiting" is not an excuse... I feel tired of waiting too... sometime.

not easy to have long distance relationship, especially come to the stage of submitted document for K1. I am sure the "negative feeling" is just for awhile... (fingers crossed)

I wasn't saying it was a legitimate excuse. I am saying that it sounds like he is using it in order to hide something else from her that he does not want to reveal in order to let her down more gently. My guess is he found somebody else.

My fiancee and I received a RFE and there is NOTHING (you here me CSC!) that will ever keep us apart, no matter how long it takes or if we have to move to a country with a more friendly immigration policy. We are soulmates and nothing is more important to us than our lives together.

Sounds like he did not really care about you much less truly love you. You do not want to love someone like that, keep searching, you'll find the right person.

Does this statement make anyone else really sad like it does me? Maybe it was the time I grew up in, but... what happened to "give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses..."?? Probably was only ever really just a pipe dream anyway. Sigh.

What's really sad is that those of us who actually care about Our Country have to wait in the same queue as those who could care less. People like that really should get out of line and just move to another country already - preferably where the beneficiary resides. That would be a true testament of their Love as Soulmates...

...What?! What should love for your country have anything to do with how long you should wait?

I have lived in my fiancee's country for a considerable amount of time, and would move out of the U.S. I already have a backup plan in place to do so in case the visa doesn't work out. However, I would prefer to have my wedding and our lives take place in my country because my family lives here, I am familiar with the area, I know it's a safe place for my future step kids, and I know that they will receive an internationally recognized education. Everyone has their reasons, and 'I love my country' is just as valid of one as 'I would rather stay where my family lives.'

What would Xenu do?
