ITS NOT SELFISH TO WANT TO SEE "ONES' PETITION APPROVED AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE..BUT MAYBE SAYING IT 'OUTLOUD' SO TO SPEAK, AND KNOWING THAT THERE IS SOME INJUSTICE FOR SO MANY OTHERS WAITING IN LINE, IS KIND OF LIKE BELIEVING TAKING 'CUTS IN A LINE' AND JUSTIFYING IT JUST BECAUSE YOU WANT TO GET WHERE YOU ARE GOING FASTER.

i DON'T BLAME YOU, AND NEITHER WOULD ANYONE ELSE HERE...BUT IT KIND OF IRRITATES SOME PEOPLE WHEN SOMEONE WANTS SOMETHING 'WHEN THEY WANT IT' NO MATTER IF IT AFFECTS OTHERS WRONGLY.

I BELIEVE 'FIRST IN LINE' DESERVES ALL THE ATTENTION, NO MATTER WHAT THE SITUATION...OTHERWISE GOING AHEAD OF OTHERS BEFORE YOU IS NO BETTER THAN JUSTIFYING THOSE DACA APPLICATIONS.

HERE'S HOPING YOU GET YOUR QUICK APPROVALS..BUT HOPING OTHERS BEFORE YOU GET THEIRS FIRST!...THE WAY IT OUGHT TO BE!

Well said, there is really no rhyme or reason on how trying to figure it out. Your NOA2 will just appear on your phone via text one day. Don't waste your time anticipating what the timeline, as you will ultimately just let yourself down. The process is not like a normal queue as you would see in a grocery store. There are so many factors that go into this, and also add that these are lazy government workers who prob make less than someone doing the same type of work for a private company. Just sit back and and let it all come in due time. I'm sure you have stuff to do before he or she comes, right?

Watching the timeline is an interesting way to pass the time while we wait, but nobody should take them as any kind of official date to expect your NOA2. It does fluctuate a lot. I'm also a February filer and watched mine fall back as far as October before CSC started processing I-129F petitions again. Then it jumped up to June because they were processing December petitions. Now they seem to be back to the July/August/September filers and are putting them out at a fairly rapid pace. has pushed my back into September again. I don't know if I'll be approved in June/July/August/Septemeber/October, but I do enjoy watching it move around.

A better way to try to figure when your time is getting closer is to watch he NOA1 date of approvals. When your time is getting closer, the NOA1 date will be closer to your own. Unless you are EXTREMELY lucky, you will likely see some approved with NOA dates after yours and that is when your time is getting much closer. Of course the only way to know for sure when your NOA2 will arrive is wait for the status change on the USCIS website

Aya and I are almost at the 7 month mark. We've been strong, it's just hard. I have my Senator involved now so maybe it will just naturally take it's course in a timely fashion.

01/15/12 - Sent Aya a message on a dating site
03/10/12 - We became "exclusive"
03/15/12 - We told each other "I love you"
08/17/12 - 2 week trip to the Philippines to be with her
08/27/12 - I asked her to marry me (in Cebuano), she cried and said yes
09/02/12 - I came back to the USA

Started on the paperwork

09/22/12 - Mailed I-129F
09/25/12 - Saw on USPS that the package was delivered in Texas
09/28/12 - NOA1
10/08/12 - Received hard copy NOA1
12/19/12 - CFO Counseling Session (to get it out of the way)
04/27/13 - NOA2
05/06/13 - NVC Received and MNL # assigned
05/21/13 - Medical Exam Day

Maybe I'm a bit selfish but 1 week ago my NOA2 should come in June 15th and yesterday it jumped to July 11th :\

I want also people of August to December get their NOA2 but CSC could keep doing them and ours too. People of Jan already is completing 4 months so if people of Dec got their NOA2 within 4 months its fair Jan filers get their too.

I'm Feb filer and just want my time comes.

I'm sure CSC can make august and dec this month, next month sept and october and in june nov and jan. I've seen the graphics and august with 30% and dec with 40% of approvals, and july with 60%.

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?cfl=

Just to think I'll have to wait more 3 months it makes me crazy...It has been 1 year I don't see my fiance :'(

Good lucky to everyone.

My fiancee and I are Oct. 22nd filers, do you think its fair that we wait behind Nov. and Dec. filers? How would you feel if Jan. and Feb. filers were being approved before you? Think about that.

It's unfair that anyone has gotten an NOA2 after July.. they need to finish with a month and then move on to the next. Wait in line, in order, just like everyone else. The CSC going out of order has given everyone a false sense of entitlement. I have been waiting a little over 6 months and although it SUCKS (We even had to cancel our wedding now that was suppose to be May 25) I think it ridiculous that anyone past July or August has even been approved. Sorry if it sounds harsh but after you pass the 5 month wait time and you see people being approved after 3 or 4 months you lose all sympathy.

Put yourself in the minds of the adjudicators. They want to clear the backlog and keep their average on-target. How do they do that? By processing just enough applications "early" to keep their average to 7 months which meands while the majority of approvals will come from the "donut hole" of July-October sone will come from later months. Sure this sounds unfair but if they don't do it that way then the average service time (a bad measurement of performabe BTW) would grow and grow and they'd look bad in the eyes of their bosses. I see how all this can be upsetting but remember they are st least cranking our approvals now so that's a good thing! :-)
