Why don't we just attack North Korea first?

When you - an adult armed to your teeth - are approached by a little confused 10 year old that raises his bare fists and yells "I'mma #@!$ you up!", would you think that the proper response is to pull out your guns and shoot that little boy? Or are you going to put him into a time-out? The latter, right? Well, that's what we're effectively doing and it's the right response for obvious reasons.

I'm not so sure that North Korea is a 10 year old with bare fists...More like a 17 year old with bare fists - but hardly some confused little tot. Now should we shoot to kill the 17 year old?...No. Is he really gonna hurt us - well, not in a life threatening way, but yeah, he could. So should we consider punching him first before he even has a chance to punch us?...Maybe.

No, Bush did a stimulus and the first financial bailout in his second term so that makes it better.

At least Bush gave extra refund money back but Obama gave free cell phones to blacks only. Did we get any money from Obama? nope nothing but a tax hike on second term.

Bush didn't ran the debt up compared to Obama or pull out a stimulus package on first term.

Bush didn't pull out a stimulus package first term? Technically, you're right. He actually pulled out two of them. In 2001 and 2003. These are, by the way, along with the moronic adventure he started in Iraq largely responsible for the debt that we've been piling up long after he left office.

That article is a joke. Whoever wrote that, failed History 101. I'm not going to go through it point by point, because the whole thing is laughable. The 4th point that the war was/is between the DPRK and the U.S. is so off base. North Korea invaded South Korea in 1950.

Not to mention Geography 101. I can't quite find a land border between North Korea and Russia.

Basically the whole article is complete rose-tinted carp. <_<

The liberal elite ... know that the people simply cannot be trusted; that they are incapable of just and fair self-government; that left to their own devices, their society will be racist, sexist, homophobic, and inequitable -- and the liberal elite know how to fix things. They are going to help us live the good and just life, even if they have to lie to us and force us to do it. And they detest those who stand in their way."

Simple. Let them die on the vine. What is our interest in attacking them? What do we gain? We have the ability to defend against what they do and we have nothing to gain by a war with North Korea. They don't have anything! Let them spin in the wind.

This is not 1950 anymore.

If they pour across the border again a few satellite guided "time on target" artillery barrages with cluster munitions and fuel-air bursts will finish that in a few seconds. Missiles launched will be shot down and the air force will be destroyed on the ground in less than 2 hours by bombs dropped from planes they will never see. The war will be over in a day. IF it comes to that. Otherwise we can just save the money.
