In order to get his Ontario driver license, they took away his Florida one! His voter registration card is so beat up..i hope they'll still accept it. His car still has a lien on it with SunTrust, do you think that could be proof for domicile?

I know i'll need his 2012 tax info for the interview and that's too much for me to handle, even though he's got no US income for that year he's sitll gotta file and I learned something new - I HATE AMERICAN TAX FORMS! good thing he gets an automatic extension because he lives in Canada and we need to file his Canadian income. :crying::blink:

As long as the voter registration is mostly legible, it should work laughing.gif I don't know what liens are, but if it's still current or whatever, that'd be good evidence as well. Is the car from America? And if it is, is he making payments on it? Proof of those payments would be another idea.

Yawn, typical answer from them. From my recent tracking of cases on this website, people are getting a response on the 10th business day. For me, the 10th business day is tomorrow. So I hope they're either making a decision, or being reviewing my AOS. The IV 10th business day is next Wednesday. So if its been less than 10 business days since they received the case, don't be disappointed with no response.

Today is the 13th business day and still no response :( .. i hope u a speedy response

You should be hearing shortly. I hope to hear something tomorrow for the AOS. For the IV I'm not expecting anything next week as I sent in a lot of bonafide marriage evidence. Didn't front load in the USCIS so I front loaded at the NVC stage especially since my case was lost. So I don't know what they have and what they don't.

Does anyone know when they send your file to the embassy? Do they wait till after the interview date is scheduled?


USCIS - 66 days ROC - 139 days from sent to approved
12/3/2012 - I-130 delivered to Chicago 5/20/15: mailed I-751 package to California office
12/4/2012 - NOA1 NBC (Missouri Service Center MSC) 5/22/15: Date on NOA1
12/6/2012 - Check cashed 8/26/15: Bio appointment

12/8/2012 - Received paper NOA1 10/06/15: Received Email card was being processed
12/20/2012 - Case number showed up on USCIS website
1/29/2013 - Called USCIS and case is still at NBC
2/8/2013 - Received an Email that we were approved on 2/7/13
3/5/2013 - Told file may have been "misplaced" to email NOA2 to NCVresearch
3/7/2013 - ISO at the USCIS opened a service request to try to track down
if and when the file was shipped. Should hear something before 3/26 ( so she said)

Husband had a mini heart attack last night with the photo checklist. Lol. Guess he's not as nonchalant about this as he acts. ;)

The case is only sent abroad after an interview date has been assigned.

Case complete! :) Happy dance :) Hope everyone else waiting gets their case complete soon!

How do you get the checklists? Are they typically emailed? I am very impatient, so I want to take my mind off of this a bit, and not go crazy calling NVC. Everything is in their hands at this point, and I want to just relax and wait for an email. Otherwise, I will start harrassing them around next Friday. No way will I wait for snail mail. What happens after the verbal case complete. Can we call up the embassy and harrass them for a speedy interview date?

10/10/07 - I-129F sent to VSC

04/30/08 - POE Newark

07/06/08 - Wedding..... I'm Married Yall!!!

I130 for Minor Child

7/26/12 - Sent to Chicago Lockbox

7/30/12 - Priority date

3/15/13 - NOA2!!!!!!!

3/25/13 - NVC received my case

4/08/13 - Emailed ds3032 template

4/09/13 - NVC case number and IIN number generated

4/11/13 - aos fee bill invoiced/paid/and pkg sent

4/12/13 - aos fee paid again after being rejected/ds3032 resent and accepted

4/15/13 - aos pkg delivered/iv bill invoiced and paid

4/16/13 - iv pkg sent express mail/ aos status changed to paid

4/17/13 - iv pkg delivered/ iv status changed to paid.

4/29/13 - Case Complete!

5/10/13 - Interview notice emailed.

6/05/13 - INTERVIEW
