Next friday!

It usually takes about a week to receive the card from when card production is ordered, so you should just get it in time.

I hope I do...thanks for the positive vibes

My hubby completed his biometrics on Mar 14 & the USPS tracking said his should be delivered tomorrow, so 1 week for us! But the initial biometrics was scheduled Feb 4 so maybe that's why it's moved so fast?

Jan 4: receipt notices

Jan 7: Checks cashed

Feb 4: 1st biometrics appointment- attempted 2 unsuccessful early walk-ins. 2nd time told that hubby needed an unexpired passport. Rescheduled biometrics

Mar 14: biometrics completed. EAD card production ordered same day

Mar 19: ready for interview scheduling

Its strange - when I went to check status online, hoping to see that my EAD had been shipped - I noticed that the message had changed dates for when the card was ordered for production. Whereas previously it said that card was ordered on Feb 19, now it says it was ordered of Feb 22. This is disconcerting given the timelines I am working on :( any ideas on what this means?

I had the same problem . It said my EAD was shipped on March 19th , then I had the AOS interview on the 21st and I got another email saying my EAD is being shipped March 22nd. Also for the greencard I got a " card production " email on the 21 and another one on the 22 nd. I think there is something odd about the computers right now

Aggreed with Harpa. There are several Card Production updates, it's normal. Check my timeline, I detailed mine.

One thing though, is that, I believe, your EAD is approved, so you are allowed to work. The date on your EAD card will be the date of your approval. It was like that for my green card, the approval date was the first day of my permanent residency (starting date on my GC).

You should be fine to continue working even if your EAD is still not in the mailbox. Anyone can confirm, please?

The thing is that the employer may ask to see the card, and the reply "it's in the mail" is not going to get you anywhere. For that reason alone I would say it should be in your possession to be able to continue working.
