NOA2 Fee payment problems

Paid my first NOA2 fee of $88 dollars over a week ago, but no withdrawal has been made on my account, and the DOS fee payment site says it's not paid. I know that the guide says not to pay the fees twice, but.....has anyone else had this problem?

NVC is open today until 4pm EDT. You need to call them and inquire. Have you already send in the DS-3032 also so the IV Bill is generated?

You also might want to pop on over to the NVC filers thread and in the Post#2 are answers to many issues. But call them now.

Sweet Lord sorry. They do work weekends and have since July. However they don't answer the phones. Thats USCIS that answers on saturdays. Sorry. You will have to call monday.

But I know NVC has been having all manner of issues with payments. People paying and its taken 1 to 2 weeks to say paid and withdrawal. It just started freeing up for some this week. But call first thing monday.

It didn't---the office was closed when I called. My wife told me she sent the DS-3032 over a week ago, being international post it may take a bit longer. However, when the DS-3032 was emailed to me, I was informed that I could pay the fee, and the option was available on the DOS site. The $400 fee (IV?) is not yet available for me to pay.

Ah, OK. Thanks for this. Hopefully it will get cleared up in the next week or so. I have tax documents to wait for in the meantime, anyway

Well good news is the IV fee is only $230. Also the DS-3032 you can send as a email. Here's the NVC filers thread there's a template to use to email them. When you got case# you gave them both your email addresses correct?

Just that snail mail they are slow slow. I had to send a letter to them took a month for them to even open.

Here is the thread read up on post #1 and #2 most you probably know. The stuff about resending the DS-3032 with Supervisor Review in Subject gets almost immediate results.

Just as a side note, you are not paying an NOA2 fee, you are paying an AoS fee.

Don't want anyone thinking they have to pay for their I-130 approval lol

Been blowing up the NVC line for the past 3 hours. On the chance that it's not busy, I get an automated message saying that inquiries are not available at this time. Same thing happened yesterday. Is this a common thing? Office closed? Staff too busy?

Office is probabaly closed due to snow. Try tomorrow. Or later.. it's possible they're just overwhelmed.

Either that or they're furloughed and today is the day off.

That's true, I didn't consider that. According to NPR however, furloughs will not begin to take effect until sometime in April.

Oh right.. I just paid attention to the hubs when he said "i'm being furloughed.... one day a week up to X amount until Sept."
