Given this was the OP:

Due to size limitations the previous combined thread http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/322082-political-cartoons-and-graphic-images/page__st__1770 is closed and this new one started. As stated in the previous thread, please post cartoon or graphic images or photographs that have been modified to make some sort of a political poster or commentary but no campaign style material. If you wish to discuss or start a commentary about any posted image or topic illustrated by that image, please start a new thread elsewhere and do not post your discussion in this thread. Thank you :)

So, theoretically, if Charles! was to post anything that does not meet the standards of the OP, he should thread ban himself, given that he has duly warned himself not to do so again?

If Charles - or any other moderator- , posting as an individual and not as a moderator, posted something that did not meet the criteria of the thread, then it would be removed, if appropriate, or he/she would be warned, if appropriate. Charles is not able to thread-ban himself and, as a moderator, cannot be thread-banned.

If Charles - or any other moderator - , posting as a moderator and not as an individual member, posted something that did not meet the criteria of the thread,it is because he/she is posting in response to another member's violation of that thread's 'criteria' or the site's TOS, and is, in fact, fulfilling his/her duly appointed and expected responsibilities.

In the thread in question, there have been several 'breaches' of the posting criteria over the last 24 hours. The posts in question were removed and the appropriate warnings posted. If anyone has problems with this, just remember it is an easy matter to resolve - post appropriately and then Charles - or any of the other moderators - won't have to 'remind' you to behave.:)

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

As long as it is just a gentle reminder, I have no problem.

ETA: Can somebody please pin the Political Graphics Comment thread in P&R?
