Please note that joint bank statements is one of the inter-mixing of finances. However since most applicants send those as evidence, probably USCIS guys start looking for those as one of the evidences.

If I were you, I will get a letter from bank that the accounts have just been made joint and enclose that as additional evidence, so that USCIS doesn't send me a RFE. Of course i will explain why I could get the account joint earlier even if the reason is that I forgot. That way USCIS will not not send me a RFE for the account statement and will asess the application based on other evidence submitted. And if the other evidence is strong enough, then they should have no issues in approving.

I placed my I-751 petition and accompanying stack of evidence to the California Service Center with the Post Office this morning. Sent overnight express. I need to go add it to my timeline. Am I the first March CSC for I-751? What is the prize?

Good luck to all.

Finally i decided to get a letter from the bank that says we have a joint account together but does not shows when opened also made a print screen of the account page that my name and her name shows in the account page but i do not have any statement and i would not make any explanation all i will show is we have a joint account together lets see what will happen as u guys said it is one of the evidence i already have alot joint hopefully they wont worry about it too much

Thank all of you guys especially to Navyk i gave him headache with the same question in different way :innocent:

Finally sent our packet to the CSC today. We could've filed last month, but first everyone in the house got a cold, then work schedules got in the way of getting it all together.

It's not as strong as it could be in financial co-mingling. The house is still in the name of USC and an ex, couldn't sell it or refi it due to economic downturn and USC didn't want to just walk away from it. Plus, some months back, the alien got some idea about trying to establish a credit score, and dropped off the USC's credit cards and most other accounts. But we have a jointly owned car, joint health insurance, life insurance beneficiary, retirement account beneficiary... and we hope all those photos of an extremely cute little girl will sway them. ;)
